The best fish and chips in the area. And it has been like that for many years. Family owned business with a long tradition of serving amazing food. Many thanks!

Top notch fresh fish and chips, slightly surly service.

I have never made a negative review on Google as I feel passionate about small business’s and the effect reviews have. However I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by this “food establishment” firstly the level of hygiene I'm sure is illegal I can only imagine the unseen parts. I saw staff members who were in the kitchen dealing with food not washing their hands from cleaning bins and porting things to the back ect. A huge cross contamination from meat to fish to dairy. Hands rubbed on sweaty foreheads then straight into peoples food the list goes on I’m surprised this place hasn’t made anyone seriously ill.

Best Fish & Chips in Thame. There's a reason it has queue outside and the other one doesn't ?

Great fish and chips, friendly staff, never have to wait too long. The batter on the fish is lovely and crispy and they are always happy do skinless cod. Easy to park opposite and they take card payments too.

Friendly staff, generally short waiting times and good food. Get loads of chips and they are not soggy like many places locally. Good sized portions of fish and chips and so much choice of other food too.

Poor food. Unfortunately best in the area though. Too thick batter on fish makes it very oily. Chips are oily too, not crisp quite soggy. Seasoning would go a long way before cooking. Im desperate for this place to get better.

This fish and chip is the best you have down south, I’m a Yorkshire man from the home of good fish and chip’s it as taken several years of living down south before I found a decent chippy, I do have to travel a 40 mile round trip for the privilege of having such good fish and chips and try to make the journey every week, but due to me having a bad accident the other day it might be several weeks before I can visit again so I hope the workers in the chippy read this and understand why I have not been in for their lovely fish and chips and wish them all the best, (lovely people) Love from John.

We try and have something different, never been disappointed with food or staff. Pukka pies are fresh and fish is very tasty. Highly recommend this establishment

Our favourite chippy. Lovely, smiley staff, crispy batter (or so my husband assures need), and the fluffiest chips.

Just found this fish and chip shop and have been 4 times. Each time the fish has been freshly cooked as has the chips. Absolutely delicious. This is going to be on my weekly lunch list from now. I cannot recommend it highly enough. All the fish and chip shops are having a hard time at the moment with the price of oil, fish and electricity but this one does not rip you off.

We used to call this the "Good chippy" vs the other but the last two takeaways have been awful! Chips and batter totally stale, we thought it was cos we went mid week but exactly the same Saturday eve. Ended up chucking most of it away and I hate wasting food! We'll be going back to the ladies across the road or Haddenham which are far better.
