Two lovely lunches at The Six Bells this week. Stopped off on the way to a short break in Oxford and enjoyed it so much we repeated the experience on way back. The sandwiches are delicious and generous and come with gorgeous chunky chips. Plenty of choice for veggies too. Just what we’re looking for at lunchtime, all enjoyed in front of an open fire. The staff were lovely. We’ll be sure to be back.

Lovely old pub in the middle of Thame. Delightful warm atmosphere with great food and a really good selection of non alcoholic beers

We had a great lunch here - good generous sandwich with chips. Recommended!

An attractive pub with a warm welcome, a good range of real ale, tasty sandwiches and excellent service. All pubs should be like this! Two nearby pubs were closed on the Friday lunchtime that we had tried beforehand. We wouldn't have discovered this 6 Bells if one of them had been open (as advertised). What luck!

Our favourite place in Thame . The staff are amazingThe food is always great , would recommend the sandwiches for lunch (they are huge!) , and the pie is just lovely .Spotlessly clean .Great garden .What’s not to love . ?

lovely food, with good deals for lunchtime diners. We were given a very sensible table as we had a dog with us, where people didn't have to walk past.

Friendly staff, pretty, clean pub and great value food.Parking at the rear of the building.Kid-friendliness: Quiet off street rear garden.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options on the menu

My initial welcome was poor as I sat at the bar for a couple of mins and with 3 people behind the bar I eventually asked if I could buy a beer!!! After that it was ok but to be honest was feeling it so we had one drink and left. For info they serve food on bank holidays until 6pm with there normal menu and do have some daily specials such as Monday is pub classics for £10 and Tuesday I is 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £60.It’s dog friendly, has a car park at the rear and a heated external seating area.Nice enough but have been to better more friendly fullers pubs

Car Bar

Great place, staff and food! Unfortunately, we did not know that we could leave a tip by credit card, choosing the percentage and we clicked SKIP. Forgive us, in Italy there is no this service and we didn't know it! thanks ?Vegetarian options: too good all the vegetables I ordered! And there are many options

We had a great pub meal, but had to wait quite a while to be served.

My sister and I had been to clear the attic of a house owned by our other sister. The weather was atrocious and we were desperate to get something to eat. We enjoyed pie and mash, and then continued our journey home.

Amazing roast! Great service. Had to wait for food but to me that's a good sign - lovely fresh food!

Met up with some friends I've not seen for ages. Had a very nice meal. And a very long chat with them.
