My first visit, and pleased to have "found" it. It is simply good at what it does. Will be visiting again soon.

Lovely to see that not only they put a lot of effort in making their food, but also their coffee! Visited on a Friday morning for breakfast, lovely atmosphere , service and products! If you find yourself in Thame this is the only place to go hands down.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place yet! We try to come at least once a week for the company, the food and the atmosphere! The food and coffee are delicious and consistently so. We always get two slices of the olive oil pistachio cake and my hubby always has the scrambled eggs on toast with a side of avocado … but everything we’ve had here has been wonderful. We’ll keep coming back as much as possible! ??

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Note, though, that they _don't_ take advance reservations.

My preferred stop in Thame when cycling in the area. Great service, great cake selection though we went savoury with the cheese/ham crosissant - hot on delivery and excellent coffee. Would come again.

Lovely old building and good decor excellent good quality food which we opted to share as its £9:00 for a Toostie White Sourdough with very tasty cheddar fresh tomatoes done so it melts in the middle with a buttery crisp shell yummy By sharing we had a cake each lemon and blueberry muffin and a raspberry peanut blondie best of both worlds coffee strong and good flavour loose tea lovely and great value as I had three cups staff friendly and nice

Having breakfast for one you don’t expect to be treated less than if you were with someone.. I was asked to sit on a different table than the table for two. Asked to sit on a big table with lots of people.. why should I it’s my day off work, relaxing breakfast.. I’d like to sit on a chair and away from kids thanks! Treat every customer the same! Also small coffees & small breakfasts for the price! Go to Black Goo instead much nicer staff and larger coffee and food!

Came across this hidden gem whilst at a business meeting in Thame. Popped in for a coffee and ended up having a small brunch there. Lovely greeting by friendly staff, whish I could have had the whole menu as every single item looks delicious. However I plumped for the halloumi and avocado on sourdough. Perfectly cooked halloumi with perfectly ripe, tasty avocado. You can tell that all ingredients are fresh and delicious, served with a wedge of lemon and a slice of chilli and just the right amount of chilli jam on the toast to offset the flavours of the avocado and halloumi. Very satisfying but I could have eaten it all over again as it was so good. I also had a delicious flat white and a ginger lemonade, perfect. Looking at the menu I did think "I bet they do good eggs here" but I did not have the courage to go for the scrambled egg on toast. It's rare that cafes know how to cook scambled eggs; sadly one often ends up with chopped up omelette or watery hard globules of egg. NOT HERE - wow, my wife went for the scrambled eggs on sourdough and they were perfect. Soft, slightly runny as they should be but not undercooked, buttery, good quality, delicious. Simple but made with love. She also had a flat white and enjoyed very much. I made sure I thanked the staff afterwards - good, unpretentious cafe food is not too easy to find but this team do a great job and they deserve praise. Well done, we will definitely be back.
