“We choose this pub as we were coming from Guildford to take my mother-in-law, who lives in Abingdon, out for Sunday lunch and we wanted something a bit different. This was such a lovely little find! Fab country pub, lovely staff and great food. We were in the back room which was a little chilly to begin with but it warmed up and we could have had a few more greens with our Sunday roasts but we loved this pub, run by really attentive lovely staff, so much we had to give it 5 stars”

“3x fish and chips, 1x butchers bangers. Fish was great. Sausages not but onion gravy rescued these, A great place to meet up for a drink and meal.”
