Went for the Sunday roast, we had the beef and the lamb with chocolate blackberry marquise and caramel tart. The atmosphere here is always so lovely and warm, plenty of seating, wheelchair accessible paths, and most importantly (for me), gluten free options. I have celiac disease and aside from the caramel tart and Yorkshire pudding, everything else on the menu was either gluten free or with a gluten free alternative. They even said they've been trying to work on making a gluten free Yorkshire pudding. The hostess brought out my meal for me to ensure everything remained free of gluten, and the food itself was amazing. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price. Definitely find a way to go.Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options.

Whilst we were all disappointed with most elements of the Sunday roast, others at the table chose alternative dishes and were very happy with them. Deserts were fabulous, especially the sticky toffee pudding. Great choice of ales, and the waiting staff were attentive and highly professional.

Always a great choice. I have celiac disease and nearly everything is gluten free (aside from the bread and the fish and chips). Delicious food, high quality and fresh ingredients, and eccentric, bright atmosphere. Definitely find your way here. They even upgraded my partners prawns to tiger prawns for free. We had the fried cockles, cataplana platter, and fried softshell crab.Dietary restrictions: Good variety of gluten free options available and chef happy to accommodate.

Had a great lunch here yesterday. Charming service, cosy interior and a delicious meal. Especially liked the extra choice for vegetarians, although I am not one myself.The starters were particularly good - the scotch egg (a speciality) was mouth-wateringly good. I think the Confit Beetroot was the best main course we had. The chef knows his stuff.Vegetarian options: Good for vegans too.

This is a really unique cafe, it has a sort of bohemian feel with the random mix of antique decor and ornaments. Lovely friendly staff and the service was quick. The vegan breakfast was nice as was the generous slice of ginger cake. My only small bit of feedback is the kitchen doesn’t seem to have an extractor fan and the frying smells fill the cafe.

We don't live around here but it was the closest Chinese to where we are staying, the gentleman on desk was polite and listened well to our requests the food was really delicious.. .. honestly the noodles are the best we hsve tasted and the beef with mushrooms was amazing we had other dishes that were delicious too! This place is an absolute dream. Fantastic home cooked food at unbelievably cheap prices. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much for them. We had lunch (5 of us) and none of us were disappointed. The breakfasts are also fantastic - if you have a massive appetite and not much to spend. Surroundings are a little tired and outdated but the food and staff more than make up for it.

The Wallingford branch of Costa goes through ups and downs but it seems to be good at the moment. A lot nicer than some of the other branches I've been to.

This is a fantastic biker cafe. It was busy when I went but there was seating available. I ordered one of the breakfast items which was huge! The food was tasty, cooked well and quickly served. If you're a biker in the local area (and for some reason haven't gone here) or travelling through, it is a great place to stop and eat. Plenty of other bikers on all makes, shapes and sizes to mingle with. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Excellent service. The food was delicious. Best panini ever. Homemade goats cheese and tomato quiche was loved by my wife. Cafetière coffee was also really good. Compliments to Chef Philip and his pleasant servers. Be aware that some days it gets very busy so you may consider ringing and booking. Definitely will be coming again!
