“Called in on a glorious sunny day on the way to folkestone. Dinner time hadn't booked walked in and greeted by a pleasant barman Jesse ordered drinks and food and sat outside in the sun...
Food arrived promptly. We'd ordered the bacon brie and jam chutney ciabatta, with a bucket of chunky chips all to share...and let me say they were both fantastic.
We actually had too leave some of the chips as there were alot.

“We came in for a tea and a latte after a stay in Wallingford to visit our son. We had a lovely, hot drink to set us up for a jouney back up to the north west. What a wonderful gem! Amazing, quirky interior design, ( we loved all the vintage touches, eg the straight- sided mini milk bottle, the variety of furniture, the wall art, the retro items, the loo decor.) Friendly service, a good brew and very tempting cakes/other food choices on offer,( which we will sample on our next visit.) A lot of thought has gone into making a visit for a simple cup of tea or coffee such a great sensory experience, that we would have stayed longer if we were not going home. We will be back for breakfast or lunch or just cake, bringing our son with us. Thank you.”
