It was very quiet as its no longer a restaurant! We don't live around here but it was the closest Chinese to where we are staying, the gentleman on desk was polite and listened well to our requests the food was really delicious.. .. honestly the noodles are the best we hsve tasted and the beef with mushrooms was amazing we had other dishes that were delicious too! We will be stopping by agsin before we go home!!This Chinese does lively food ?

Worse Chinese take-away I've ever had. The food was not tasty and not very fresh either. Also I ordered some food but they gave me something else which was a huge issue as they gave me something I have allergic. I could have been sick because of them... Luckily I found it before eating. When I told them they didn't care and completely ignored me. I will never come again and I suggest you to find somewhere else to eat because it's not safe, food is bland and the service is really horrible.

A really, really good Chinese restaurant, though now takeaway only, I believe. You'll have to travel a fair distance to find better than this. I highly recommend to one and all; superb and delicious cuisine.

Great tasting food, just excellent! We buy extra takeaway to have the next day (saves us a journey) because it's so good, even reheated in the mic it still tastes great! Well done Shanki-Li Chef's, your the best...Vegetarian options: Veg curry and a few other dishes very tasty.

Great food last night (Saturday 18th Feb 2023) we had a family takeaway. New to the area so checked reviews of local takeaways and this place had the highest. Lovely tasting food, now absolutely our new Chinese Takeaway. Keep it up please Shanki-Li.Vegetarian options: Mushrooms dishes to vegetable curry.

One word to describe this takeaway: thieves, I think... I am so disappointed by Shangki Li!I ordered here one week ago, everything in king prawn version as I don't eat meat. The food (chow mein and fried rice) was good but unfortunately they gave me sweet and sour KH balls style filled with chichken instead of king prawn. The same night, I sent them a message on whatsapp to politly ask for a refund or a voucher for this item. The person told me that the manager was not here tonight but he will text me back the following day. OK no problem, but... one week later I was not texted back, and they even deleted the message from the chat...1/ They are very inattentive or purposely serve meat to non-meat eaters (it happened to me only 2 times, in hundreds of restaurants)2/ They are simply thieves, not refunding customers when they obviously made a mistake3/ Even worst, they are liars (as if I didn't know the "Delete for everyone" in whatsapp... lol)So congratulations Shangki Li, you easily made it to my top 10 of the worst "restaurants" worldwide!

We had heard that there was a Chinese in our village, so figured we should give it a try. Food was ordered easily over the phone, and the young man that took the order was so polite and pleasant. I walked down to collect my order. The same young man who I spoke to was there waiting for me. Such a lovely young man. We had a loverly long chat, and he wished that my food would be to my expectations. It went way beyond that. Literally the best Chinese meal we've ever had. Perfectly cooked and so deliciously tasty, and generous portions, and at a very reasonable price. We will not use anyone else now after this wonderful meal. Thank you so much.

Very nice food for a takeaway is definitely one of the nicer Chineses in the area only problems being is the food can be very salty witch can leave you feelings very thirsty and I wish they would reopen the restaurant, I don’t know if it’s to do with staffing issues or not be otherwise very good

This was without doubt the most disgusting version of this soup I have ever had. The soup was as if hot water had been poured over tom yum paste, but had no flavour and no spice, to which had been added one prawn, one chewy, tough mussel and chunks of what seemed like gristle, which I suppose was octopus. I had to throw it away. Having eaten here once before and had not been impressed, we thought we would just try the soup this time, but were not just disappointed by it, but disgusted. I have never been prompted to write a bad review before.
