Excellent service. The food was delicious. Best panini ever. Homemade goats cheese and tomato quiche was loved by my wife. Cafetière coffee was also really good. Compliments to Chef Philip and his pleasant servers. Be aware that some days it gets very busy so you may consider ringing and booking. Definitely will be coming again!

Lovely tea room. Really enjoyed our afternoon tea. The scones were sublime and freshly cooked. Any dietary considerations should be relayed to the owner when booking. Staff were delightful and very accommodatingWheelchair accessibility: Downstairs tea room available if not able to climb stairs

Just had the most amazing afternoon tea at Wallingford tearooms. We were there to celebrate my mother's 91st birthday. The savoury and sweet foods were delightful. The tearoom is small and intimate and tables decorated beautifully. The staff are friendly and attentive. Overall a perfect experience. The best afternoon tea I've ever had.

One of the best cafes I have ever visited. Superb food, ingredients, service and a nothing is too much trouble attitude towards customers which is both welcome and refreshing. They even cooked 2 excellent sausages for our dog Zeus! Could not recommend highly enough. FYI - the dog friendly area is in the downstairs Courtyard

Lovely afternoon tea. Food lovely and fresh. Service good. Little gem in middle of Wallingford. Will go again.
Lovely tea room. The cream tea was delightful and the stuff were attentive but not pushy despite us finishing our tea after the closing time. A great ambience and highly recommended.

This is such a lovely tea room with delicious home cooked food and very friendly and helpful staff. I can't understand anyone disliking the cakes (see previous review). We had the chocolate orange cake this time which was so moist, light and very tasty!

The place is beautiful, very elegant in Wallingford lovely relaxing environment. Been here twice now for coffee and cake, the coffee is good but both times I felt the cake was lacking first time chocolate orange just didn't taste as nice as I expected, second time lemon cake and it must have just been the tiniest hint of lemon as I could barely taste it. I did want to go for a coffee and scone on a separate occasion mid morning mid week, but was amazed it wasn't open no sign with opening hours or reason for closure. I got my scone in Waitrose instead which was lovely.
