Food is beautifully well made with fresh ingredients and great flavours. Far better than anything else you can get in the local area.

We were visiting Oxfordshire for a Christmas weekend away. Stumbled across this restaurant on a Friday night. Lovely simple menu of Nepalese, Thai and Indian food. As a family of 4 (2 children age 7 and 10) we ordered lots of dishes and starters for us all to try. Food was beautiful and came out very quickly. All cooked from fresh. Quality was amazing. Staff were very friendly. House red wine was very nice too. We would definitely eat here again if we came back to the town.

Friendly service and clean restaurant. Is it a curry house? Is it a pub? Is it a Thai restaurant? We will never know. The menu confusingly includes both Indian and Thai. Between two designated seating area is the bar, with barstools and sofas. Crisp packets hang behind the bar, and as much as I understand the openness towards foot traffic customers, the environment lacks identity terribly. You’re having your Indian/ Thai meal alongside a lads night out. ‘Food was decent but lacked the punch of heat in spice you expect in any curry. I left feeling my curry didn’t include curry spices. A great disappointment.

Couldn’t recommend enough! Lovely authentic Nepalese food. We ate in the restaurant but we are also regulars for takeaway. The food is always of brilliant quality and lovely warm welcoming service. Delicious range of starters, mains, and sides - highly recommend

I have been ordering takeaway from Gurkha as a treat for the past few months and loving it, so we finally went into the restaurant tonight. Fantastic! The restaurant: Plenty of seating, nice warm fireplace, and cosy without feeling cramped. Prompt, friendly service. The food: Delicious! We enjoyed everything we ordered. We had chicken momo, chicken chhoyala, nepalese curry, and black bean beef. Hard to choose a favourite, honestly. I've had the Raja Rhani before and also loved it.We will be back soon.Try the Gurkha beer!

First time visiting as here on holiday and wow we had some of the best curry we’ve ever had. The service was friendly and welcoming, the menu is not huge but more than enough choice. We received our food quickly and it was absolutely amazing, could not fault it in any way and to top it off the price was very reasonable too. If we ever come back to this part of the country we will definitely be going back !
