Went for a mothers day meal to be rushed, met with unfriendly service and a limited menu with subpar food. Will not be returning.

Has to be the best pub in Eynsham now. Bar staff are very all polite and a good laugh.

Granddad, grandma, our son and wife + grandchildren. A brilliant lunch with a really good menue for the two grandchildren. My sirloin steak was excellent. The house dry rose was just right (I had two glasses!) I've meant to write a review before but didn't get around to it . . . sorry.

Absolutely FABULOUS ladies' Christmas dinner last night at the Red Lion. The food was faultless and the atmosphere was friendly and jolly as usual. An excellent time was had by all, thank you for having us!

28 of us from the Witney U3A walking group have had a great Christmas lunch at the Red Lion today. Becky and her team provided excellent good qualtity food served with a smile creating a wonderful atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the best Christmas celebrations we have had.

We arrived just before 6 pm on Saturday night. We did not reserve a table ahead of time but were able to be seated. Our waitress Becky was very kind and greeted us right away and took our drink orders. For food, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was excellent! I am from Texas and this sandwich rivaled any I have had in TX. The place filled up before 7 and was quite loud but it was just people having good conversations. It is a family friendly place. I would highly recommend.
Recent visit for a reunion using their function room. Welcoming and friendly staff. The buffet was varied, plentiful and tasty. Doggy bags offered to take home food if wanted. I would recommend and would be more than happy to return again.

A wonderful reunion for 17 former colleagues from the 1980s. The buffet in the function room was amazing - great variety and excellent quality. Highly recommended and thank you for your friendly service.

Enjoyed a wonderful live music festival for charity here recently.Top notch burgers from the BBQ followed by a comforting shepherds pie the next day.You can tell that that weekend wasn't an exception due to the event being so well supported by the local community.
