Had lunch with a coffee plus a ? burger we had three with chips burgers was burnt not the nicest ones but the day before they was lovely Little upset as we came with friends very disappointed ☹️ clearly they should been placed in the bin and recooked some more If the kitchen staff think that’s best they are totally wrong would we do it again no

Beautiful Venue, would recommend for all functions be it wedding birhday, christening or just a party gathering. Fabulous view from function room, spa downstairs.

At a Parkinson UK meeting, arriving on time at 10.30 for 11am, we were met with a flask of stewed lukewarm coffee which could easily have been made at 6am. After lunch there was expectation of fresh coffee and hot water but that was a false hope. The coffee pot was now empty and the hot water lukewarm A request for gluten free alternative at lunch time was made in advance for one person. A platter of gluten free sandwiches was provided with enough for 3 persons. That meant that it was necessary for all to eat gluten free bread or go hungry when the normal sandwiches ran out. So the catering was unnecessarily dreadful for an otherwise acceptable conference facility and may prompt the organisers to think again in future

We had customers visit for meetings and usually dine them before setting them iff on their return journey. Food and beverages served very quickly and with a friendly smile.

Had lunch at the Bistro (members only), not the main restaurant. Menu choice was good, prices are reasonable and good service. Nice when you can sit outside by the water's edge.
