So decided to try this restaurant out last night, nice central location, on street parking around it, small and slightly dated interior but clean and comfortable. 1 starter each, shared risotto for main and ice cream/sorbet for dessert. Food was decent, I wouldn’t say its mind blowing but it was good however on reflection I can’t honestly say it was good value for money. £20pp for seafood risotto and £10 each for 3 scoops of ice cream/sorbet is IMHO over priced by 20-30%. £100 for the 2 of us with no alcohol on the bill was frankly a bit of a shock. FYI I expected a scoop of sorbet but you do get 3 scoops the same portion size as the ice cream which was just too much so be aware of that.

Lovely food, chef/server took great care of us; the ravioli starter was sublime along with the rest of the set menu served was a delight. A nice break from the "pub grub" widely served within woodstock. Will be coming back with the family to support this local independent Italian.

1st time here although I've lived in the area for years. The food was amazing, delicious and great value. Owner is a fantastic guy and great chef, will now be a regular. Couldn't recommend highly enough

A nice restaurant with friendly attentive staff. The food was very good, but also very expensive! Cheapest starter was £10.50. I had 2 starters instead of a main course, because it was so pricey and with very little alcohol, 4 starters, 3 main courses and 1 coffee our bill with the service we added, was nearly £50 per head. Wouldn't return for that reason only.
Very enjoyable, and for the price - just fantastic. The 4 of us had a good mixture of the menu. Maybe not a lot of choice for dessert but the tiramisu was very good.

We have just returned to our hotel after a meal at this restaurant . After a lovely few days at the Marlborough hotel and visiting the Palace and being overwhelmed by the friendliest of staff tonight was a huge disappointment. The waitress was surly and unfriendly - no where to hang coats because of Covid- we were told to put them on the vback of our chairs . I asked for two starters , one as a main course but was told I would still be charged as a main course. The seasonal vegetables and salad were huge and could easily have been shared but the waitress did not feel fit to tell us this . We ordered house white which was not available - was this because it was cheaper ?. A bottle of white was plonked unceremoniously on the table with no wine cooler !! The food was good but there was too much of it , the atmosphere was zero and the waiter needs to up her game . Will not return and warn everyone against. Such unfriendly service !! You felt very unwelcome .

We've just returned from La Galleria, where we went for my 70th birthday treat, and I just couldn't wait to give them a review. We had roast rack of lamb with a rosemary and red wine sauce and medallions of beef fillet in a cream, brandy and mushroom sauce. We each had some of each dish, and agreed that both were exceptionally tender and delicious. The ingredients were obviously very good quality and were cooked to perfection. We both had Pannacotta with Forest Berries Coulis for dessert. We love this dessert and I'm a self-confessed addict, so have it whenever I see it on the menu, here and abroad, but this one has to be the best ever. The pannacotta was soft and creamy, melting in the mouth, and the sauce was just bursting with wonderful berry flavours. My tongue is still tingling at the thought of that.

Eat here today with friends, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the set menu and it was amazing value. All food is prepared fresh and was high quality. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Spent over 2 hours catching up with friends over a relaxing lunch. Will certainly visit again.
