Fantastic lunch here. Food was great. The 'fish and chips' was amazing. It's not cheap but everything was really nice. You can take dogs and there is outside seating which is also a bonus.
After returning from a short break in Woodstock, and having had the pleasure of eating food which was off the scale for quality, taste, I just had to post a review. If you get the chance to eat at the Back Lane Tavern, you’re in for a treat. Truly memorable and utterly fabulous ?????

With out a doubt the best food in Woodstock and the surrounding area. We have visited many times and will continue to as the menu is always changing and exciting. Very knowledgeable staff and always very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone visiting or local.
