Simply put, the hours are not correct. I arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday and all of the lights were off and the business was closed. Nothing on their door or social media saying they would be closed, either. Don’t expect it to be open when they say they are.

Dropped in after a lovely walk round Blenhiem earlier this week. We stopped by in the morning and I have to say this is one of the best breakfasts I have eatten out in a long time. The quality was superb! The staff were very easy, they had just sat down a 20 person table and a 14 person table the breakfast arrived in a timely manner. My only comments would be one more egg and another sausage or bacon rash would have gone down a treat. Would definitely recommend they are also dog friendly!

We made a last minute family booking and were blown away by our visit to the White House. Communications (via chat) with the super helpful Ben was great and he sent a menu through to us in advance. When we arrived, we met the wonderful Craig who served us at the bar. The food was very well prepared and very tasty. A great range of beers, and wines, followed by coffee. A lovely meal, in great surroundings and served by excellent staff. Highly recommended restaurant!

We had a delicious dinner! We were ten friends and we enjoyed terrific food. Tender steaks, crisp and fresh fish and chips, rocket salad with parmesan shavings - every one of us enjoyed our dinner. We’ll be coming back!

Popped for a late dinner on Saturday 25th Nov after doing the Christmas lights at Blenhiem Palace. Not booked but nice welcome even though they were short staffed and had a large party in. The fish and chips we ordered were exceptional the best I have eaten and very good value. I would not hesitate to return when next in the area.

Excellent food, spotlessly clean space, quiet environment!!!

Great food, we both had fish and chips with sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The dining area was quiet so that made chatting easier. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, once we were seated, we never got up from the table until it was time to leave. It was like being in a restaurant rather than a pub. Keep up the good work everyone.

Oh dear dear me! Arrived at midday today looking forward to a good Sunday lunch. We were largely ignored as they told me they were printing new menus. After 40 mins of waiting, I told a waitress but she just shrugged and did not offer to find out what was going on.Eventually our meal arrived - I had the beef and my wife had calamari . My roast was bland, dry and overdone at best. When I declined to pay a service charge and wanted to see the bill, the same waitress just huffed. So rude and thoughtless! I will not be darkening your doors again

We had the lunch deal of fish chips peas and a glass of wine for £15. Very tastey. Staff cheerful and helpful. Pub nicely decorated with a garden at the back.

A lovely community pub right by Blenheim Palace, decor was lovely and the lady behind the bar was very friendly. The food was delicious and everything was really good value for money. The only thing that let it down was the speed of service on food. We were warned of a 30 minute wait but that then became an hour. We will be back and will put our food order in earlier. Please don't let the delay put you off, as the food was brilliant.

Visited as half way between us for family to meet up and Churchills grave just over the road . Staff were friendly and accommodating and it’s dog friendly in and out . Noisy because of its situation on a main road . The real issue is the food . The couple adjacent to us complained about their food. We ordered two ploughman’s lunches at £11 each and felt totally ripped off regarding content and quantity. Won’t return on this basis .

Very nice local pub. We had a delicious brunch. The person that served us was gentle and very helpful. It is a nice cozy place to have food and drink.
