The White Bear

Great pub. Went in on a Saturday night, karaoke was on. Some class tunes, great for over 30 crowd I reckon. Decent beers.Onto darts.....No raised oche, or throw line.lighting but it was blocking the board lol.At least they have a board. Lots of room for improvement. Limted due to the ceiling height and size of the pub.OK for a laugh if you want to play killer or something with mates.Still, the pub itself is great and I will go back ?

Warm and cosy old pub. Unexpected, but fantastic outdoor area! Could do with the heaters staying on for longer than 15 seconds on cold evenings, seemed to spend all evening pushing the button to turn it back on. At least one real ale would be great too.

My mum and I called in here after going for a suit fitting (we’re not from around here) looking for some lunch. The first thing we noticed was how lovely and cosy the inside of the pub was, great music- Motown, our fave! We had a lovely welcome from Jackie who was lovely, friendly and very chatty! We had chicken fajitas, the food was lovely, hot, fresh and really tasty! Will definitely be back when I come back to collect my suit in April. Thank you Jackie - legend x
