Harrowden Fisheries

Working in the area and came across this chippy. Made very welcome by the friendly owner. Husband had chicken and chips, I had cod and chips. Both were delicious. Very generous portions. Would use again if in the area.

In our opinion, the best chip shop in Bedford. We have tried Several other chip shops overtime, but they have been very inconsistent. Harroden fisheries has always been very consistent producing good quality fish and chips with crispy batter. I ordered kebab meat and chips which was perfectly cooked and very hot when it arrived as always. The chap on the phone is always very friendly and professional and very informative . Were down from the peak district visiting family and had popped in just for chips, i can honestly say their great, some long some short some wide thats actually a novelty too, the service was perfect and cooked fresh, we took them with up to our caravan half hour away and they were still plenty warm enough to enjoy,
