I am so impressed and grateful with the wonderful, kind service received today at Otters. I went out for my first solo trip with my new born today, took my dog as she has always comes with me, the staff where wonderful, I was given a full table with plenty of room for the pram and dog. Having ordered some lunch when it came out my little man was having some lunch of his own, the food was taken away to keep warm until I could eat it, I was given space and time and I can not thank you enough, it was exactly what I needed to help build my confidence. Thank you so much

My soup was just tepid when it arrived. Nice friendly staff but the food was very average.
Arrived about 11:30am and there were plenty tables. Excellent choice of breakfasts and specials. Staff were very attentive and the service was speedy.

Otters supplied an amazing welcome hamper for us at the Dragonwood Boathouse on the Ladywood estate so we stopped by when in Oakham to thank them and decided on impulse to indulge in breakfast. The scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection and the accompanying coffee was hot and well made. Staff were smiling and friendly and of course there’s a wide selection of “Fine Food” on the shelves to tempt you!

Superb lunch. Excellent smoked salmon platter with a goodly sum of salad and the best butter (with bread) ever. Quick service even though it was peak time Saturday. Well worth a try.
