Our Second and visit and very disappointed this time as it took a while for our order to be taken and then after a further 30 minutes food arrived which was not as nice as we expected based on our first visit.

What a lovely place, great staff, dog friendly and fantastic cakes!!! Coffee was amazing and the service pleasant and helpful. You can also wander around a great garden centre.

Not the best when I visited on Mothers Day, the beef was very rare and stringy, parsnip was undercooked and singular!!! Mostly cabbage for veg with one carrot and one parsnip. Sorry but not impressed especially as it was quite expensive. I won't be back. I suggest they employ a chef who can cook.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, bacon roll and a couple of fried eggs were pretty sweet. Great service, good price, and a dog friendly area as a bonus! Will call again if we are in the area.

Went there yesterday. Waited 20 mins for table service. Eventually got up and ordered at the front desk. Another 15 mins spent waiting for 2 coffees. The food we ordered also never arrived as was forgotten about so ended up leaving and going somewhere else. And we only went there to support somewhere local. Probably 1st and last time we will go there. As they say, rather stick to places you know as best not to try somewhere new.

Well run café serving good coffee and excellent breakfasts. The cakes looked incredible; I commit to returning next time I visit Rutland so I can have an opinion on them ?

We just booked lunch on the 17th. So happy they are opening again. They have been sadly missed by us for their excellent weekend breakfast. Their service, professionalism and politeness is second to non. They have always set out for social distancing and took bookings to accommodate the seating arrangements during Covid, allowing for social distancing. Always clean and felt safe. Looking forward to meeting all the staff again.

3 of us on bikes visited here one chilly damp morning for a pre booked breakfast during one covid times. Phoned the day before to book a table and was greeted by lovely warm friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and prompt. Cakes looked amazing thou managed to resist. If your a cyclist who’s looking for a stop then you can’t do much wrong here. Or if you just fancy somewhere nice for a cup of tea and cake. Either way whatever takes your fancy this place is worth a visit. And it’s supporting local trade. ??

We visit the Potting Shed regularly. It’s the very best all day breakfast. Beautiful local produce, superbly cooked, and always hot. Sam and her team always make everyone very welcome. All Covid-19 rules strictly adhered to, fabulous, we always feel confident and safe eating here.

Three cyclists stopped for breakfast one overcast day. We had cycled out from Stamford on a round trip and like most cycling groups having a good place to stop is vital. I can very highly recommend this place. Good quality food. Lovely breakfast and good prices. Cakes good, coffee good, space good, all ticks in my box. Staff are very friendly and if you fancy something a bit stronger there is a selection of alcohol like doom bar but remember it’s a cafe. Not a pub. Plenty of space for large groups of cyclists also. There is room outside to park the bikes where you can keep an eye on them. I was happy and secure to park mine up and not worry about locking it. I have book marked it on Komoot as a highlight so I can plan my routes to pop in here. I would call to book a table in the current covid times but I wouldn’t say it’s vital. We visited at 09:30 on a Saturday morning and there was a few people there but it wasn’t packed. You could risk turning up but I’d still book. Thank you for the service. Can’t wait to visit again and go for cake this time.

Six of us met here for a family breakfast. Full English was excellent and plentiful. Also had a delicious latte (in a mug!) We all ordered different breakfast variations and none of us were disappointed. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning ..

My first visit to this cafe. Service and food excellent. All social distancing measures in place. Well recommended. Visited with friends from car club. I think I am right in saying everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. No complaints. Keep up the good work.
