Very welcoming and attentive staff. Please note that no alcohol is sold but you may bring your own. Also note that it is cash only, no credit cards accepted. Huge range of dishes on the menu. Our chosen dishes were authentic Indian meals not adapted to European tastes. The pork and chicken was beautifully tender and delicious. It was odd that on one side we had a well behaved mature hen party (with alcohol) and behind us was a group of students from the famous Uppingham public school equally well behaved.

I have recently had a couple of takeaway meals from here which were both very tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Chicken was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Not eaten in yet but plan to.

Tasteless food, bread tasted old with barely any garlic and you could not taste any cheese it was so scarce in the bread. Korma watery and bland, starter was tasteless - just worst Indian food I have ever had. Overpriced too and only takes cash!

Doesn’t matter what day or time we come, the food and service is always consistently good. We’re regular visitors and the staff are always welcoming. Definitely recommend.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food in generous portions. It's BYOB as they don't have a drinks licence and cash only. The nearest free ATM is at the One Stop which is a shop about 100m away - well worth the trip to the cash point!

I had intended ordering a takeaway but discovered they were cash only! How can that still be justified? I can only assume it is to avoid tax. Apparently even during the pandemic they were cash only. With such a policy I would be seriously worried about their kitchen hygiene
Undoubtably the worst Indian I have ever been to in my life The food was atrocious. bland and tasteless. I’ve hade hotter Corn flakes than the Jalfrezi I was served. Mushrooms were swimming in water, rice was under cooked, sag panir was like and old inner tube and the nan bread was like a wellington boot Having sat down, we were informed they only took cash and didn’t serve alcohol. I respect that (I’ve travelled enough to be aware religious beliefs). But put that on the door so people know before they sit down Asked if we could have a table not directly under the a/c and in an empty restaurant and was advised we’d have to move if someone needed that table in an empty restaurant!!!! There’s a “one stop” down the road. I’d advise getting a box of biscuits from there rather than help these rude clowns avoid VAT and PAYE

Among the best Indian food we have ever eaten. First impression was how light, airy and clean it looked. Abdul greeted us with a huge smile, the service was superb, food piping hot, portions generous enough to take home enough for next day. We will certainly visit again next time we are in the area.

Great food. Great service. Just needs to have an alcohol license, but you can take your own.

Good imaginative menu. Good Indian food. Just let down a little bit by some of the staff and their 'going through the motions' attitude. It's a BYO and is cash only. But didn't cause us any concern.

Came on a recommendation and was a very good one ! Firstly it’s a BYOB ..there is an all in one store two minutes away for beer and wine etc .. The restaurant are happy to supply ice .. glasses etc.. Staff super friendly and attentive.. then there is the food .. Awesome.. So many dishes I’d never seen before .. We chose one lamb and one chicken.. absolutely delicious. Portions are huge so consider less sides or take them away if your local . A brilliant local Indian serving high quality food .. Go hungry .. Comes Recommended. Enjoy !
