“Deserves 6*. Superb! Stopped here at last minute on midweek before catching sleeper to London and couldn’t have been more pleased with choice. Really thoughtful menu, every course was superb. salmon rilletes, carpaccio beetroot, halibut, hake, pistachio tres leches, salty chocolate mouse. Great wine selection including some interesting desert wines. Excellent and very friendly service, lovely little place. Much better than many more expensive places.”

“The Silver Darling comes very justifiably recommended. Hard to find location but the cab drivers know where to go. The site of the restaurant is in what is more industrial than pedestrian but the service and food are well worth the location. Our server was considerate, informative, and exceptionally nice. The food is amazingly tasty with the right portion sizes. The scallops were superb, tender, and tasty. The fish and chips was a buffet of taste and tenderness.”
