This lovely hotel is a central point for Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and the Argyll forest. The room was well decorated and clean. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, the portions are quite large!

Stayed en route further north in our motorhome which we could park up in the spacious car park and dine in the restaurant. Both myself and husband had the steak and ale pie, which was beautiful (pints for scale!) Needed some gravy for the mash and veg which we was offered after our food was delivered.Location is fantastic next to the loch and marina, wide tarmac path to the loch would be accessible for wheelchairs.Would definitely return ?

We stayed there overnight and the room was decent, but we had some problems with the shower! The dinner was fine and we had many options at the breakfast!

Family Feast by the LochWe had a delightful family gathering at Balloch House gastro pub, nestled on the serene shores of Loch Lomond. With a party of 11, kids in tow, and our furry friend welcomed with open arms, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. The food was a hit, satisfying a range of tastes and appetites, while the service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. It’s a gem of a spot for family meals, and we’ll certainly be back for more!

I love coming here, it's dog friendly and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend you to pop by for a pint or 2, or have some food with family and friends.
No imagination with the food and the steak was service cold. No point complaining. They could spend another 20p and add cucumber, tomatoes and coleslaw to the plate, but so used to ‘once off visitors.Probably why locals like myself don’t bother going there. First time I went was disappointing too a couple of years ago.

Me and a group of friends had a fantastic night here last night where I hosted a murder mystery night in the side room. Fantastic buffet service and area for a gathering. Ailsa is a fantastic member of staff and Jeff and the other staff also helped ensure our night ran smoothly. We will definitely be back.
