The Legends Indian Restaurant
Ochilvale Terrace, AlloaWe arrived later on a Tuesday night but received a friendly welcome. We had the Chili chicken and slow cooked beef curry and both dishes were full of flavour and great portions. We live in Dunfermline and we have loads of Indian Restaurants but would happily travel to Legends. We very rarely ask to take food away but it was so tasty we didnt want to leave it. Thanks so much for fabulous food and service. We will be back.

9 Coalgate, AlloaAttended a wedding dinner and it was brilliant. Staff were great, very attentive and spoke to all customers with care and attention on what was a busy evening. The family who own it couldn't have done more and were really good. Food was great, plentiful and very tasty. Wine was very good and I know many get a bit sniffy about house wine but it was lovely. Highly recommend this place. Bill was not to big either.

Opted for the Donner bhuna volcano hoagie.
What can I say about this other than outstanding?
Nan bread perfect, chips crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, cheese melted to perfection, Donner meat fresh, and the bhuna? Wow. Chicken tikka delicious, the gravy extremely flavourful. It all complimented each other.
The only negative, is how detrimental for my diet it would be if this place was closer! I'll be returning soon!

I had the cheese toastie with spiced wedges and it was cooked to absolute perfection – crispy, cheesy, and full of flavour. Then I finished with a fruit scone and honestly… incredible. Fresh, delicious, and the perfect ending. This place is an absolute gem and without a doubt the best café in Alloa. Can’t wait to come back!

Fishcross, AlloaEnjoyed the food but the Cajun chicken strips were dry, compared to the last time I had them in the salad, which in itself was very good. Chips were good and the desserts were very nice. Eat here regularly (it’s always busy so booking advised) as the food is consistently good and the staff are helpful and pleasant.

WTF??!!! I thought what the hell is that. Has something got into the bag? I thought I could see a little pair of eyes peering out at me. I leaned forward, picked up the bag, put it on the floor baseball bat in one hand and there it was again, more rustling and little eyes looking out behind the prawn crackers, I thought its got to be a rat or a mouse or something, so I carefully pulled the bag down ... And there it was ... ... A Peeking Duck!!!

3 High St, AlloaI've been a frequent customer of this bakery and almost every time, the food is top quality. Everything is always good tasting and well-cooked. Their steak pies are very good, and their tuna rolls are nice, but they could lay off the mayonnaise a bit, as it tends to saturate the roll, making it a bit too watery. The vegetables add to the moisture, which makes the roll too wet overall.It would be nice if they could relook at their Scotch pies, perhaps by using a more palatable meat or adding more meat into them. Ideally, the meat could be minced but not too loose, lightly compacted together, and filling the entire pie. I remember one time when I ordered a Scotch pie, and it was of medium thickness with most of it being just pastry. A more substantial and evenly filled pie would be much appreciated.On the sweet side, their yum-yums are amazing, and the truffles are astronomical. Their morning rolls and barn rolls are out of this world.The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The shop itself is very inviting, with nice decor and a good selection of products. Overall, a fantastic place for quality food and a pleasant experience!

Staff have been long standing members for a while and the quality of food and service makes the old furnishings and wall decor fade away.If you're looking for that mystical 'pub lunch' that fills your belly with gloriously cared for food. This place does that and I'm very thankful for it. They had Inch's cider on draft which is perfect for me and made my partner a healthy pint of orange and lemonade.Staff all genuinely love the food too and nice can see why, its classic food items done well which shouldn't be as rare as it is.I find it tough getting proper good grub from pubs at times but this place did not disappoint. Pricing was very reasonable, I've paid more for significantly less quality food before and I've kept the recipe to remind myself that truly good food need not be attached to a ludicrous price tag.Well done everyone who makes The Mansfeild Arm's operate day to to, you all should be proud.Kid-friendliness: As long as they aren't after a pint, kids were welcomed to sit and eat with their families while I was in.

We followed with steak pie which was excellent!
Sian made our experience memorable she is a credit to the hotel and I’m sure she will do well in the catering industry very efficient and likeable.
