Had to wait a long time for our soup. It was very stressful eating as a woman with her kids was messing with the high chair. There should have been more assistance as she was already told to sit outside. My toastie was undercooked, and the soup was like water. Have eaten here many times very disappointing

A lovely coffee and pastel de nata with a friendly team behind the counter. Couldn’t ask for more, so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Anstruther was very busy when we visited and all the cafes were busy. So glad we plumped for Coast Coffee. Lucky enough to get an outside table in the sun. It is a no frills cafe, you go to the counter and give your order, pay and then wait for it to be delivered. The waitress comes out and shouts your order and it is delivered to your table. We had Bacon, Brie and Cranberry panini and it was delicious served with crisps and salad. We also had two decaff americanos and the total bill was under £18. Great value and great food. You had the choice to add on a tip when you ordered but I declined but when we finished our meal I made a point of giving a tip by cash as it was such good value.

Wonderful friendly and welcoming, great find looking for breakfast on our journey back south from St Andrews. Harbour views

We sat outside in glorious sunshine. The food and drink was amazing. I would highly recommend the lorne sausage and the bacon & haggis rolls. Delicious. Lovely iced coffee and cups of tea too. Very friendly service. Great value!

Coast cafe has been running for quite a number of years and had had a revamp since I was last there. Always busy, which is of course a good sign for any cafe you are thinking to go to. Lovely friendly local staff and quick service for all the usual hot drinks, paninis etc.
Lovely Cafe positioned nicely on the shore front . Seating inside and out . Was lucky enough to visit on a sunny day so sat outside soaking up the sunshine while eating lovely freshly prepared food served up by friendly and helpful staff .

I found the staff unhelpful and unfriendly. It was obvious it was for locals only. I asked if there was a good time to visit and I was told NO. Needless to say we went elsewhere. We went to the Bank Hotel and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will not ever go to Coast Coffee again.
