“Excellent chippy, with a fabulous selection of items, including old favourites and some other lesser available option such as frickles, smoked fish (battered, breaded or baked) and truffle parmesan chips. There is also a gluten free range. When sitting on, supper options include a side (beans or mushy peas) , bread (white or brown) and a got drink (tea, coffee...). Toilets are clean and well maintained.
If taking away, there is a separate entrance in the lane up the right hand side of the main entrance: don't go in the front entrance as this is for done in only. There is usually a queue, but the staff are efficient enough to keep it moving as quickly as possible.
Merchandise is also available for those looking to take a memento home.”
“We're still sat outside on a beautiful October Saturday and just shared a fabulous cheese ham and tomato toasties for lunch with drinks. Beautiful friendly staff and great spot. Totally made our weekend. HIGHLY recommend.”
