£11 for a glass of wine. You are having a laugh. Could buy a bottle of decent wine for less than that and sit at the harbour and enjoy the view over the sea.

We especially love the Dreel in the winter. A table near the fire is a joy. Food delicious. Veggie option saved by the addition of aubergine to the specials. Everything we ate was 10/10 and cocktails the absolute best. We’ll be back. Please if you are nearby, pop in for a lovely meal in this cosy and welcoming place.

Came here on a cold, wet, windy afternoon to be met with a lovely warm, cosy open fire and an equally warm, inviting hostess. Cask ales, wooden beams, friendly atmosphere, just what you wood wish for. Came back in the evening for a hearty steak dinner and some more cask ales ? Food was amazing. Was not disappointed in any way. Staff so friendly, just a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend. ?☺️

Visited for late lunch, booked a table to call in after a good walk along the coast. Very cosy with log fires on. Shared the seafood platter which was delicious. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Staff were pleasant.

Popped in here for a drink and so glad we did. Like stepping back in time! Nothing beats the experience of walking in from the cold to be met with the heat from roaring open fires, we counted 3 but thinking there may be more. Unfortunately we couldn't sample the food as we really didn't appreciate how busy this place was. When it's fully booked you know it's good. After checking the menu we made a promise we'll be back at a later date to book a table and enjoy the experience properly.

We booked a table at the Dreel on a weekend break to Cellardyke to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was, without exception, outstanding. We started with a sharing plate of hummus and warm focaccia, which was light, crispy and delicious. We followed that with a slow cooked beef and nduja risotto, and braised beef cheek with colcannon mash - again, both flawlessly cooked and beautifully presented. The food, setting and lovely, friendly staff made this a memorable evening. We’ve already booked a return trip next month.

Just what we were looking for! Dog friendly, accommodates a wide range of dietary requirements and some of the most welcoming staff I have ever had the fortune to meet! Plus their Halloween decorations are on point ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, vegan, vegetarian, pescitarian

Had fantastic meal at the Dreel Tavern, its dog family friendly with lovely welcoming staff. We enjoyed sampling the new menu, in particular the salmon curdo starter was delicious and the Sunday Roast. There is a great wine and cocktail selection, the best Mai Tai in town. Thank you so much to the Dreel team, the meal and service was outstanding, we will definitely be back!

Arrived earlier than we had booked having explored and walked for hours. Happy to just chill with a drink outside. Staff asked us if we would like to eat earlier than we booked, we were hungry so delighted to do so. The pub is a wee gem, the staff are attentive, friendly but overall professional, you watched them working as a team, kind and supportive of each other. The food then, the charcuterie was stunning and so large was boxed up for us to take home for supper. Every cheese was described, as were the meats and pickles. Win win. Then the sea trout...The king of fish in our opinion, cooked simply and the star of our meal. Advised not to order sides with this due to size of starter. I truly cannot wait to return with some other loved ones. Scottish food and hospitality at its finest.

We couldn't sit for a drink before the meal, as it's not a pub. The meal started fine, staff seemed nice - but we waited over an hour between starters and main course with (many) staff walking past us, without clearing the table, or saying anything. Odd serving behaviour. The place was not full at that time - so assume it was a slow kitchen - but the staff at the front should have acknowledged it and us. Won't rush back!

We arrived at the pub for drinks after a long day walking, we had a drink each as we were very tired out and they needed the table back after an hour. Unfortunately the young blond lady who originally had been helpful earlier, accosted us in front of diners, asking loudly had we paid the bill, how very rude and assumed we hadn't paid which we had paid to a member of staff, and left a tip. This experience left a bitter taste after such a nice day and we got more annoyed by this poor customer service, we have traveled extensively world wide, and eaten and drunk in far better establishments, than this wee restaurant. We won't be back and we will certainly do not recommend this place.

Lovely staff serving top quality local produce in a great atmosphere. The Langoustines and dressed crab were fantastic

I rated this restaurant a 1 because the service was very poor. The young lady have us a bottle of table water. I had to ask for cups. We ordered our meal which was of poor quality chicken supreme had no sauce ? my sister ordered a meal that had chilli in it she asked for them to exclude them as she gets unwell with them. The servicer mixed up the meals to another customer. The girl was called over and a new meal was made. We had to wait on my sister finishing her meal ? what was the point in going for a meal together if we couldn't eat at the same time. She got £2 something off her meal. Big deal

Lovely food, we were outside at the river, inside these beach hut things probably left over from lockdown, would not great to sit in, but if the weather isn't great they'll accommodate more people

We were looking froward to this visit as the reviews were good and the food looked very nice. I guess they had an off night. First of all we were ushered through the lovely atmospheric restaurant and given a table in a plastic windowed extension which felt like an old people’s home. The starter was very good. Cullen skink was delicious, the hummus had a bit too much lemon but a great flavour. The various breads were a bit nondescript but OK. The mains were a complete let down. The chicken supreme was pretty ordinary roast chicken. The beef ragu in pasta came in a watery flavourless tomato wish wash and the beef was tender but again lacked any distinctive taste. The server was attentive. Some Americans came in after us and were told they had 10 minutes to order! They stayed bless them, I wouldn’t have! Worse, a couple sitting next to us had their starters order so messed up that the lady ended up not having one at all! Definitely won’t be making another visit.
