In my opinion, this is the best bakers you'll ever discover! The Tipsy cake is the most luxurious I've ever found, "Sare Heids" are a delight that I've never found anywhere else, and the selection of bread is fantastic. If you are lucky enough to visit, make sure you get some Butteries (it's controversial, but I think They're better than the ones from the North of Scotland!) We visit Anstruther and Cellardyke often, and Barnett's ois normally our first stop.

So good. Be sure to get a bannock or two, along with the other tempting things on offer. Get some oat cakes, too, to take with you for later. Just a wonderful bakery.

Unfortunately, I have no photos because I ate my pastries too fast. Incredibly flavorful pastries! This place is worth going out of your way for.

No visit to Cellardyke would be complete without a visit to Barnett’s Bakery in Rodger Street. The primary reason for my visit was to stock up on my supplies of their fantastic oatcakes (the best you can get) and we also treated ourselves to some of their fabulous leek and cheese bread. The range of pies, pasties etc were also very tempting, as were the cakes, but we resisted - just! Service by the young lady in this branch was charming.

I can't count how many times we've been to Barnett's in Pittenweem. Amazing shop, with amazing products. However, one of the staff members there is so utterly rude and miserable - and has been every time we go in - that we would consider visiting the Anster branch instead. Again today (10/9) we visited to get our normal order, only to be met with utter rudeness. This is not the case for other staff members - who are just lovely. Please, someone just have a word!

Their leek and cheese bread is amazing. If you haven't tried it then do!! Lots of other tasty pies and pastries.

With a fantastic range of breads, cakes and pastries, our visits here helped make our holiday special. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I especially loved the mince pies and tipsy cake.
