We stopped here for lunch. Located right on Anstruther Harbour. Food is delicious and great portion size.

Beautiful location in a fishing village. Very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner with extremely friendly and obliging staff!

The hotel was good, the bed very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. There was no network coverage in the room, but the WiFi was free. However, it kicked us off every 10 minutes which was really annoying because we couldn't book anything while we were in the room.

My wife and I stayed for one night in December. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. They very kindly let us change our booking date at the last minute which was very much appreciated. I would recommend the Waterfront and I would stay here again.

Food below average..menu description words ingredients that aren't on the plate when it arrives at the table..Service below average..got attitude when i said there is no lemon caper sauce with my seabass which the menu clearly says it comes with..My partners Chicken burger was dry and unappealing.Rooms below average especially the beds..Room walls are like cardboard you could hear the guests in the next room even tho they were only talking.Paid for a double room and got 2 single beds together.Radiator in the room cannot be controlled due to the temp gauge being broken so it is on full whack resulting in a extremely hot and uncomfortable room.Bedding wasn't even on the duvet properly and making the bed up properly is the last thing you want or expect to do when you go away for a birthday treat..Wish we had looked at the reviews online before booking..Clearly the reviews fall on deaf ears as neither the owner or hotel manager replies..Sad as the location and view is breathtaking.

Great location, beautiful and tastefully decorated room, with all that's required for a great stay. Excellent wifi signal. Easy to connect to using your email or facebook for verification.

Have been here several times while visiting family and have never been disappointed. It can be very busy but that's because the food is very good. Latest visit was a Sunday early evening and it was quiet. The service was excellent and pricing is reasonable for this popular part of Scotland. The fish and chips are a must (large portions) but there's something on the menu to please all.Walkability: Car park a few minutes away.

First time visit. Service and food were both excellent. Charges were what I expected. Will be on my list for future visits and I recommend this to others. First rate!!

We stayed here for two nights in November and had the best time - the room was spacious and seemed newly decorated. Beds were some of the comfiest we've ever come across in a hotel. Loved having both bath and shower. Location couldn't be better. Breakfast is delicious (between us we tried the full Scottish, avocado toast, waffles with bacon, smoked haddock). We also really enjoyed our dinner (haggis stuffed chicken, smoked haddock lasagne). Staff were lovely. Would go back in a heartbeat.
