“Popped in for a drink in memory of my mum's passing. The staff were really friendly, as were the regulars. Plus two super friendly dogs.I was last here in 1972. It's still the same though the ceiling is no longer dark brown nicotine coloured.Thanks for the hospitality”

“This is a small old time public house with lots of atmosphere, there wanot a lot of people in the pub but there was a group of musicians playing Scottish music and they were great, they were not young and its sad to say this may be the last of this type of entertainment ..We had a great time and the service was really good . Not much of these places left .”
