A difficult review to write as Imrie's was shut on the night we visited. However, we ate in the bar of the main hotel and it was convivial, substantial and tasty (and not expensive). The staff (Aiden basically) were friendly and efficient All in all, a pleasant experience. Room was comfortable and dog friendly. Can certainly recommend for an overnight stay.
We stayed for 3 nights to attend a friend's wedding. Arrived Friday eve and left Mon am. The wedding was really lovely and the staff were amazing. We had breakfast on 3 mornings. Very nice. Vegetarian option very good. We also had supper there on Sunday evening. Very nice again but menu for Vegetarian was limited to 1 item. Think the menu changes for winter. Lovely place, food and drinks were spectacular. Made a last minute decision to go and the waiter made it happen by quickly organising a table and our meals even though it was later in the day. Place was kept clean and fresh. definitely recommend for anyone with a hungry belly as it definitely does the trick.
