“We spent 3 wonderful days at the Smiddy Haugh with our 2 dogs. Niki and Rich were fabulous hosts, so attentive to absolutely everything. One of our dogs is a bit scared of other dogs and they were very mindful of that, keeping their own dog Jasper out of the way. I felt sorry for poor Jasper, but was also very grateful. We only had one evening meal, but that was wonderful, sitting by the lovely fire. Breakfasts were great and set us up nicely for a day of sightseeing.The nicest touch was coming back one day to find a card and box of chocolates from Niki and Rich for our wedding anniversary. Such a kind gesture! We will definitely be back.”

“Freindly owner. Sat outside at the back and was overwhelmed with the birdsong. Went for a coffee which they don't serve but the beer was good. It broke a very long road journey, will use it again.”
