The room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well looked after: from the bedding to the furniture, everything feels high quality. The bathroom was huge and equally well maintained.
The food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast, which was a real highlight. The owners were lovely and very attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We couldn’t recommend it more.

We dropped in to grab a lunch on the way and were able to enjoy a top quality, delicious meal, of just the right size, swiftly and professionally served. For 50p more than a mass produced meal-deal offering at Tesco, we DINED. That's worth talking about. These guys have a devoted local following that I'd join if only I lived less than a hour away. (I live in Norway) But I so want to come back.
We were welcomed instantly, served professionally and so friendly. A very good menu, authentic and delicious.

Food was amazing and service even better!
They dealt with our allergy absolutely impeccably. Food was perfect, we were checked in on and topped up at the perfect level - not intrusive but not too little.
Completed with a visit from the chef to check how our meal was.
Can’t fault anything - we will be back!

Perfectly executed and especially loved the sauces accompanying each dish. Impeccable service and nicest folks. Must have the soufflé and the cheese plate at the end.

Gleneagles Hotel, The, AuchterarderAs soon as we arrive for our annual long weekend away, we bypass checking in & head straight to The Century Bar for a bottle of Champagne & one of their scrumptious sandwiches. It’s a great venue for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap, especially when the fires are roaring. Sit at the bar or on one of the comfy sofas & enjoy the vibe. The service, as you would expect, is exceptional! We love this place ❤️

Duchally Country Estate, Gleneagles, AuchterarderOutstanding food and great service too. I had the beetroot and feta to start then the duck for main. Cooked to perfection! Just wish we hadn’t waited until our last night to visit as would have definitely returned. Highly recommend!

Whitemur House, The, AuchterarderSuch a wonderful dining experience at The Birnam! The rigatoni and lamb steak were absolutely delicious, definitely two of the highlights of our meal!
What made the experience even more special was how thoughtful and accommodating the staff were with our dietary restrictions. They went out of their way to prepare the pasta sauce from scratch to suit our requirements and even took the time to check whether we were comfortable with wine vinegar. It was such a considerate gesture and showed how much they genuinely care about their guests.
Amazing food, exceptional hospitality, and attention to the little details that really make a difference. Highly recommend!

Gleneagles Hotel, The, AuchterarderHad dinner here on a Saturday evening. Quite busy but staff very attentive. Wife and i had the Indian thali sharing platter which was a delicious feast that left us very full indeed. Excellent value. Only slight negative was that my seat was about 2 foot away from the kitchen which made it quite warm environment.

I would love it give it strong 5 out of 5 but I can't since there are times when food arrives cold or is little bit bland. All in all, most services provides are high up to the standard and leave me with a big smile on my face. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that lives in Auchterarder and in areas close to that location. If you live too far away, this restaurant is also for you as it provides food worthy of travelling a long distance to taste it.
