Great bit of meat (500g ribeye) but could have been cooked better imo came rare and don't think it was cooked low and slow as it wasn't as rendered as would expect. Char flavour was great but it was under seasoned imo also very expensive (75£ for steak and no sides). My partner had the chicken which wasn't grilled as far as I could tell and it was serviceable. Room was stunning and service was good but not the standard we received from other venues in Gleneagles.

Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, service was fast and staff were all so lovely and so helpful!Vegetarian options: Could be more vegetarian options but the one I chose was lovely.Dietary restrictions: Very good with allergies.

We regularly go to the Dormy for a spot of lunch of an early dinner, and it always delivers. The food is good, always fresh and tasty, and the waiting staff are always excellent, friendly and ready to help, always with a smile :) Thanks for always giving us a fab time Dormy!

We went here for birthday breakfast. Service was a little slow, but staff were friendly and the food was worth it- caramel lattes here were so good!

We had lunch at The Dormy. The service was first class and the food was simply delicious. Amazing views over the golf course. Advisable to book before you go. Definitely worth a visit.

I have to agree with previous reviews and I hoped I would be mistaken. We went here today with my sister and sister in law as a pre bridesmaid lunch treat which I told them beforehand when I booked. They couldn't even give me what I'd requested which was a window seat in a booth overlooking the golf course. The food was extremely pricey for what it was and the portions very small. The service was extremely slow and pretty cheeky to add a £20 service charge . The meal cost almost £200 and we didn't even buy alcohol. I could have spent half of that and got somewhere equally as nice with better service. Feel like I've been robbed. It's time you sorted this out. I won't be back any time soon.

A staple for us.Went for a drive to Gleneagles and arrived at the Dormy for lunch.Be sure to book a table, very busy place.I ordered the prawn cocktail, then the club sandwich with a side of fries. Then dessert.Wife had some cocktails too.Service was excellent as you would expect.

Travelled to meet family visiting for what we hoped would be a special treat. However very overpriced for what we had. Chicken tandoor was very small portion, dried and over cooked unfortunately, 2 slices cucumber and tiny pots of raita, chilli sauce, Nan bread for £26. Service and desserts were good however if charging these prices expect top quality food and adequate portion size
A really lovely place any time of the day. Great service, really good food go hand in hand here. Highly recommendedVegetarian options: Nice to see no mac and cheese as a veggie option for a change. Mushroom burger was great

We had lunch at the Dormy Grill Gleneagles on Sat 24th June and found the staff to be very attentive and helpful, my husband had the tandoori steak which was wonderful and I had the grilled salmon which was over cooked and very very dry, the cut was taken from the tail of the fish which was why there was lots of brown flesh which I wouldn’t eat. I asked the server for some lemon juice to pour over the fish to make it edible. I didn’t complain at the time because it was a special occasion for my husband and didn’t want to spoil his day. Salmon is an easy fish to cook and easier to check if it’s overcooked. Attention to detail it wasn’t.

Very comfortable in the bar area but we didn't get served our drinks very quickly and had to go and find a staff member. Then our table wasn't ready so had to move to another waiting area. Table was a full hour late becoming available. Slow service.
