We stayed in the Morlich Hotel but chose to have dinner in the Aspects restaurant. We couldn't get a table until 2030. Had a wine in the bar. Way overpriced. As we entered the restaurant it was nearly empty, no atmosphere. My wife had a steak and I had lamb. Hard pushed to find the lamb on the plate. However when I did find it, very well cooked. Again the wine was too expensive at over £31 a bottle.

Good service and atmosphere at the restaurant. The restaurant is inside the Highlands hotel. They have “ a la carte” menu . If you are staying at the hotel and have paid the service of half board ( breakfast and dinner) then you are given £25 allowance to spend at therestaurant and you need to pay the difference. The customer service at breakfast is slightly different. At 9.00 it starts getting really busy and there is insufficient staff to service the customer’s needs

My wife and I had an amaizing Dinner. Food was delicious. Service was great. Antonia did great job and made our time in there comfortable as possible. Recommend. Will be back for another meal.

Very disappointed in our meal at Aspects restaurant. Very overpriced for standard of food. Exceptionally small starters. Service charge added automatically and no wording on bill to say this is optional. The service was pleasant and polite.

First of food was great when it eventually showed up very small portion for the price but was really nice for the small amount we had. Service was poor and very long wait 1 hour for a kids starter and 1.5 hours for adults mains. Our daughter was tired and cranky by this point witch the waiting staff couldn’t stand by the looks they gave. First night here let’s hope the rest of the stay is better.

On a very rainy Saturday night it was very difficult to find a restaurant and this was the only one with availability. Now we know why. Two of us had surf and turf which would normally come with king prawns but instead half a dozen frozen prawns. for the price we paid you don’t don’t expect this also coming with a tomato and one mushroom. The halibut was nice but the price the portion size was inadequate. The lamb dish after cutting away the fat wasn’t much there. The pavlova was well you can imagine. The chef needs to take lessons from the chef at the Uig hotel in Skye which was faultless.

The fish I ordered was delicious - really well battered and fried perfectly for me. The fries were a little ordinary. Unfortunately they didn’t have malt vinegar. My wife had gnocchi that was not so great, but the kids loved the prawn cocktail and the Mac-n-cheese.Service was friendly and helpful. The issue is really the atmosphere. Muzak droning on with a decor that was dated in the 80’s. It was all very depressing. Like the waiting room at funeral parlor.

Extremely limited menu, Ordered steak and chips, burger and chips and a kids macaroni cheese, the steak and burger were good but it's just frozen chips and a very bland frozen Mac n cheese. For the prices I would expect better quality. I can put frozen chips in an oven at home. Serving staff were great and very understanding and took the price of kids meal off the bill due to our unhappiness with the food.

I've never felt remotely compelled to write a bad review for a restaurant before until I ate here."Warm artisan sourdough" for £5.50 was 5 little slices of cold, stodgy bread that definitely wasn't sourdough and tasted like it came out of a supermarket aisle.Catch of the day tasted like it had been cooked in a dirty pan.The curry tasted like nothing at all, with rice that had seemingly been cooked by someone who's never cooked rice before - watery, without any flavour. I had to call the staff's attention twice to get the flat bread it was supposed to come with. All of this at fine dining prices. There's so many better places to go in town (basically anywhere else!)

The staff were very nice but the food was awful. To start every dish was £5-£10 more than the sample menu online so enormously over priced. The ravioli was fried...I think possible in a deep fat fryer and was inedible. We sent it back. The burger was a third of the size of the bun! And the chips were undercooked and super cheap so the potato in the chips was bad. Then there was kids with phones or games on loud on every table. Nothing against kids but when you're being charged £20 and over for a main you don't want to feel like your in a creche.

Regarding dinner, the food was okay, could surely use more options. The portions were small and a bit pricey. Some of the waiters were amazingly polite, others not so much. We dined there on our first night in the hotel, then changed to other restaurants the following nights. The breakfast, on the other hand, was delicious with several options, and the morning staff was very attentive.

shambolicadjective: obviously disorganized or confusedWe actually were sympathetic with the waiting staff as someone in management needs to take note that we saw at least 4 tables experience similar to what we did and received 100% off the meal.We actually wanted to pay 100% for a good meal and experience; getting a free waste of 2hrs and awful experience didn’t feel a win.If you are under resourced to a point you can’t deliver service, you must restrict your offering. We recommend eating in the other establishments within the resort.

Food was okay but overpriced for what we got. Wine was really expensive. Service wasn't very good, just concerned about how much money they could get out of us rather than giving good friendly efficient service.

Food was OK but incredibly overpriced. I've had better for far less and would have been disappointed if I'd been charged full price.
