This is a great little find at £94 per night right opposite the premier inn at £120+ per night. In my opinion this place is far nicer. The rooms are spotless and have everything you could need, including a fridge. Italian restaurant next door which is great too. Rated as superb on booking.com too.

We had been looking for somewhere in the area for a special meal as we were staying locally for my Mum’s 80th birthday. Several people mentioned the Rowan Tree, and we were delighted with it - the food was of incredibly high quality, and the staff really couldn’t have been more helpful. Mum had a brilliant evening and the Rowan Tree played a massive part in that!

Finally found it open on our fourth visit to Aviemore over the years, only to find it full, no tables available.
The lovely man said we could sit outside and brought us blankets (it was sunny, but Storm Dave was on his way.
We ordered, then he came back and said he'd rearranged it inside, so in we went.
The butternut squash and sweet potato soup was one of the nicest things I've tasted, and my son had emmental cheese sandwich with a beautiful salad with edible flowers.
We stayed for coffee and an amazing cheesecake, with the owners reassuring us to take our time as LOADS of folk were asking for tables.
The loveliest of welcomes to the Highlands, just wish it was open every day as it is special

We visited The Coffee Pot searching for a quick lunch and warm drinks and choose wisely! The first impressions were immediately stellar with impeccable cosy vibes thanks to the fireplace and tons of hanging wall art. Staff was polite, attentive and kind. We got our food very quickly and were amazed by quality and taste. The sweet potato, coconut, chilli soup was excellent (and I wish I had asked for a recipe) and the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly (and what more could you possibly ask for). Prices were more than reasonable and cash is accepted too. Very glad we found this little gem and hope it prospers.

Best place we have eaten whilst visiting Aviemore! Had the garlic chicken and mozzarella focaccia and it was absolutely divine! Followed by the milkybar ice cream. amazing! Popped back today for some cannoli which are delicious. Spoke to Diane who works there and she was lovely, really nice telling us about the food and italian desserts. Can't wait to come back! 100% recommend this gem of a place! xx

Great fish and chips shop. Everything tasted amazing!!! There was a huge queue when I arrived and loads of people waiting but the wait was not long. They run like a very well oiled machine. Fresh food, huge portions. Worth the money.

What a wonderful stay we had at this hotel.
We upgraded to a slightly bigger room which was clean, warm, fresh and adequate for our 2 night stay.
Hotel is very dog friendly which was a big bonus.
Despite being in centre of town there is nearby grassy areas for dogs.
Housekeeping staff very friendly as were restaurant.
Check in and out was quick and easy.
Nothing at all to complain about.
We had dinner bed and breakfast deal and food was of good quality and freshly cooked to order.
Would definitely recommend and will be back soon for another stay.

Excellent for atmosphere and value. We ate there over two nights and couldn't fault it. The service was particularly good; quick and cheerful. It will be my default eating place in Aviemore in future.

Fantastic Haddock and Chips! Great value for money and the fish was cooked to perfection . Lovely thin and crispy batter and well worth a visit. Could have done with more salt and vinegar which we asked for but still great food

I’ve always wanted to try Pizzariach but have never managed to get there on my many trips to Aviemore.
I opted to sit in and get the mountain 12’ pizza.
The pizza was delicious. Superb tomato base and well done bread.
The homemade coleslaw was also excellent.
One minor issue was the majority of the toppings were in the centre of the pizza, leaving most of the outer edges with only tomato base.
I will be back!

It's fairly pricey in there but it has a nice vibe. Cute little old fashioned looking shop. It was very busy when I went there, and the guy on the till was very patient and pleasant with a rather irritating customer. He was very friendly and sweet when I was served by him.

Planned wee stop off for a beer or two turned into a longer stop off ???. Great range of beers, spirits and cocktails, food and staff ensured we had a great day. Highly recommend a visit.
