We spent one night in this romantic hotel. The service was impeccable, with a very warm welcome. Special mention to the manager who revealed his secrets to us in order to best taste the whiskeys and gins from his selection. The cuisine was particularly refined in addition to being excellent. We will return with great pleasure as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Hope to see you again soon! Romain & Emma

Felt like a queen in my corner room with a four poster bed and cozy window chaise. Dinner was yummy and thankfully they could seat me last minute because I did NOT want to drive anywhere else in the pouring rain. Breakfast (veggie Scottish) was warm and good! Grabbed a couple pieces of fruit on the way out too. Rooms are on the older side but it’s a nice location and everyone was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is ideally located on the road to the Glencoe sites (three sisters etc…). Rooms are ok, not very comfy, “old” uk style (we stayed in the main building). We could hear very clearly the staff in the kitchen from the bathroom - that was not a plus.Restaurant view is nice and food is good. Staff is doing the job.

First time here, cannot fault this place at all. Great homely atmosphere. Staff are so nice and friendly. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Evening meal was delicious and reasonable. Bar was warm and cosy. Will definately be back and would recommend to friends.

The bar was nice. The restaurant did an excellent job on dinner. The room was nice enough. The staff were great, they were very kind and helpful. Overall I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.Food & drinks: The dinner and the service were noteworthy. Both were excellent and I left very happy.

We had the worst experience at this hotel. Booked a twin share room with mobility access and walk-in shower facilities, only to be told on arrival that these rooms do not actually exist (although they are advertised). The hotel did not reply to my emails requesting room confirmation or dinner reservation and took full pre-payment from my credit card, which they unlawfully held details for. I explained that my elderly travel companion couldn't climb the steep staircase, negotiate several more to the back of the hotel (where our room was located) or climb in/out of the shower in a bath and that we simply could not stay there. My refund request was flatly refused, after it was denied that payment had actually been taken. The Duty Manager was rude, unsympathetic, deceitful and is totally unsuited for the hospitality industry. Avoid!

Don't bother going if you're looking for a nice Sunday lunch. To say the menu is limited is an understatement. The vegetarian option was nonexistent. It's a shame because it is a beautiful place in a gloorious setting. I would have loved to sit and eat looking out over the loch.

A quaint little hotel in a lovely location. The food was excellent. Rooms were clean. There is more to the story, though! As it was the month of July when we stayed, I opened the window a bit to let in the evening air. Thus set, we turned in for the night. Along about 2 am, I felt something noiselesly brushing across my feet.I immediately turned on the light and searched the room. Finding nothing out of place and no critters hidden inside the room. I got back under the covers and turned off the lights. Then my wife experienced the same thing!Squirrels? Spooks?Your guess is as good as mine.

When we first arrived at the hotel we initially felt a bit disappointed as the pictures on the website were a bit misleading and very ‘polished’! In reality we had a tired hotel.. albeit very quaint…but… would we go back ? Absolutely! We took Archie, our Cocker Spaniel and he was treated like a king. The staff were very attentive, to him and us, the room was lovely (room 1) albeit a bit old but that added to its character. The big down side for us was a weird smell in the bathroom, we couldn’t figure it out and it was there for the full 5 x days. The food was fabulous and the view of the mountains from the dining room was spectacular. The hotel boasts an external decked area adjacent to the dining room but it was badly in need of decking oil, flowers and a lot of TLC, as do the gardens .. not very well tended and appeared a bit overgrown in parts. Down by the hotel was a road which led directly to the loch .. what you see when you get down there is absolutely stunning .. my pictures honestly don’t lie. Overall we had a brilliant break and would go back but if I could offer some constructive advice is to give the gardens and decking some much needed TLC, brighten the dining room and the bar area up as they look a little drab, especially the timber cladding in the bar and maybe add some hanging baskets outside, the colours set against the whitewashed background would be so welcoming . That said though. thank you for welcoming us and supporting Archie so well .. we would definitely come back and would happily recommend Loch Leven hotel .
