The Laroch Restaurant and Bar
Loanfern, BallachulishJust had dinner here. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had. We had the pork belly and the braised beef. Both were divine. We then had the sticky toffee pudding. Sadly we decided we would just share the desert, so I only could eat half! Was delicious! Staff are so friendly and professional, the chef is clearly very talented.

Old Ferry Rd, North Ballachulish, Fort WilliamI was not sure what to expect about this place at first- at first glance the rooms are more outdated, but you guys- THIS PLACE IS AMAZING- it is SO worth it! I think this was our favorite place we stayed out of all 5 places we stayed in the UK. The bar is SO cute, and - the restaurant- oh my god! I was not expecting this at all but the food was 5 star. PHENOMENAL. honestly this meal was the best we’ve had our whole trip and we traveled 10 days all across scotland. The service was perfect, homey, friendly, wonderful. The food 5 star. The views….STEPS from our patio we walked from the bar our restaurant back to our room. I wish we stayed here longer. The pub was just adorable and so convinient. Don’t be deterred - this place is homey, lovely, beautiful. That photo below is the view from our patio!!!! Rooms were very clean also!
