From the ambiance, the beautiful atrium, the smooth-jazz played for background music, and the attentive service, to the quality of the 'house' red wine, the salad, the tomato/red-lentils soup, the cheesy-garlic pizza bread and last but not least - the perfect lamb dish, it was an over-the-top experience. Highly recommended, and will definitely come back.

We have been visiting Ballater for many years but have just discovered this wee gem. Trying to find something different for hogmanay, we tried out their festive hogmanay menu. It did not disappoint. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door and we thoroughly enjoyed every course. Fabulous atmosphere, amazing staff and delicious food. We will definitely be back. Happy New Year. Thanks to the Green Inn for kicking off our NY celebrations in style.

Okay, I have been to more authentic Italian places, but this is a unique gem all its own. The sun room was a gorgeous place to eat. They had an excellent kids menu, I think their Mac and Cheese was my baby's favorite thing he has eaten in his 11 months of life. The staff was also really great with him, and overall, which was welcome. Nice wine list. Reservations recommended!

What a find. Lovely restaurant with conservatory area, went for dinner. Good lighting, space between tables, chairs comfortable table for2 a good size. Menu not massive (good) good choice & not overly expensive. I had the hake special - absolutely lovely. Friend had salmon risotto- fab. Decent wine list, usual prices. Service excellent & waitress friendly & knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals & would highly recommend. Would have gone back if we had more time.

We dined at the Green Inn to celebrate two birthdays and enjoyed a very memorable dinner. We enjoyed a wide variety of starters, main courses and deserts all of which were well cooked and well presented. We will be back again next year!
