Service extremely slow, clearly understaffed. Drinks prices ridiculous, £9.50 for a a glass of pinot grigio.

Came here after proposing and the staff had set up some champagne and a free dessert for us, as well as a great discount. Staff were all attentive and the food was great.

Starters are small buy tasty, dinner was clearly pre cooked but my biggest disappointment was the cheeseboard, blant, boring, out of date cheese thst were stale, no grapes or celery, same biscuit type and miserly portions. Clearly take their guests for granted based in thus experience.

The staff in the restaurant seemed very nice but the service wasn’t good. No one came to take our order and my soft drink was warm and given with a small amount of ice. No one asked if we wanted any condiments. The biggest disappointment was the food though. I got a chicken burger and it was dry and served on a in a cold bun. It came with some salsa but it was out a jar. I tried my friends chicken wings which were just smothered in a sickly sweet sauce. Truffle Parmesan fires were just fries minus the truffle and Parmesan. Overpriced for the poor quality. Its chain pub quality at best. I wouldn’t go back.

The Clubhouse at Cameron is a very relaxed and nice place to eat. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious (had the Halloumi and sticky toffee pudding for dessert) even though some more options (especially vegetarian or vegan) would be nice. We came at a night with live music which was fun but a little too loud at times.Vegetarian options: Small choice of vegetarian meals

Difficult to find as initially headed to Cameron House - it is not near the main Hotel and both parties arrived 1/2 hour late. Warm welcome - not a large menu on offer, but food was enjoyable.

Went there as a group of 3 after golf on a weekday. Went to order lunch. Intially went to the bar to order drink which took the best part of 15 minutes to arrive before ordering food. Food to an hour to come, we went to chase up with staff to which kept getting told was almost ready until we threatened to walk out to which it eventually came. We overheard other tables also chasing up orders with a few just walking out due to the length it was taking and others reviewing wrong orders. When the food eventually came wasn’t even an apology from the waitress. Whilst the food was actually very good - the service was absolutely shocking / appeared to be unable to cope with a half full restaurant. Shame for has the potential to be a really great restaurant there is a clear lack of management (seems to be fairly common experience from looking at other reviews).

Hello I’m sorry to say I had a very unpleasant time eating at the Cameron house clubhouse. First of all the waiters and waitresses were not attentive to our table once sat down and I had to repeatedly get up and ask for our order to be taken for food and multiple drinks orders. The worst part being able to see the staff stand at the bar on their phones. The food was a disaster and over priced. I ordered the chicken breast, bacon, mash and veg. It came without any bacon and when I queried it to the waitress said she would bring it out but it never arrived. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding for desert which I was looking forward to after a round of golf. However when it arrived I quickly realised it was still frozen. I quickly handed this back to the waitress and another one came out 10 mins after my group had finished their deserts. When the bill came the staff had the cheeky to add a service charge for the meal. I paid it but on hind sight I should have asked for it to be removed! It was really disappointing as we had a great day at the golf but the clubhouse meal really the let the place down! Not where near a 5 star resort! Regards Lewis

Visited here with friends for a spot of lunch, lovely surroundings and great friendly service, we all enjoyed a club sandwich, which was well presented and very tasty. Thank you we will definitely be back.

For Cameron House to advertise this as one of there hotel restaurant offerings is surprising.Service went from being over attentive to non existent after a large booking came in.Starters of haggis, neeps & tatties and asparagus with poached egg were uninspiring and disappointingly bland.Fish and chips main, the batter on the fish was very obviously undercooked just by looking at the colour of it (pale yellowish white). Batter was therefore sloppy.Burger was wetherspoons esque standard, didn't seem homemade. Desserts (choc torte & cheesecake) seemed frozen and lacked much taste. Asked for 2 espresso and were given espresso cups filled to the brim, more like an americano...

We were very lucky to just get in here on time. We’ve been many times before but I think things have definitely improved. The food was delicious The staff very helpful. One waiter seems to be serving so many people at once.He was a real worker! We thoroughly enjoyed it.I had Mussels in a smoked haddock broth. It was quite delicious but an enormous portion,ny husband was happy to finish it.Unfortunately his haggis neeps and tatties was an extremely small portion, although still delicious. Fish and chips excellent.

Really great food and service! We stopped for lunch after a Loch Lomond cruise with sweeneys, and were very pleased with everything!

Yet again this place disappoints, only went in for a couple of drinks after golf, even ordered and paid at the bar to quicken things up, staff offered to bring them to the table but the overpriced soft drinks were not brought over and we had to go and collect ourselves after 15 minutes, dirty glasses everywhere but loads of staff??? Come on you guys you are supposed to be at the higher end, oh and keep an eye on your toilets as they also let you down (toilet roll not replaced, on the floor and bins overflowing) this observation was from a visit the previous week.
