Wild Highlands Coffee House
Maid of the Loch, Pier Rd, Balloch, AlexandriaThis is my new favourite hangout. The coffee and cakes are delicious, the view from the pier seating area is stunning. Staff are friendly and there's a relaxed atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Vegan carrot & pistachio loaf is delicious.

Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips (Balloch)
40 Balloch Rd, Balloch, AlexandriaPeople, bring your appetites! I had the "fish tea", with two pieces of fish, and added mushy peas. It was a lot! It was also superbly good. The only very minor negative was the wait between my drink arriving & the food. It was half drunk & quite cool by the time the food appeared. Apart from that everything was excellent ??? & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ?The other person is right too, the plastic tea mug was a little odd ?

The Boat House
A82, Loch Lomond, AlexandriaI was feeling slightly apprehensive about attending my booking once I read some of the reviews, however I’m glad I didn’t give it a miss! Firstly the service was impeccable, my partner and I had our first drinks order taken soon after we were seated and did not wait long at all for them to arrive. We shared the scallops to start which are 10/10, although the portion size was small considering the price, the taste was worth it. My partner also had the chicken wings starter which he enjoyed however I would give the parmesan fries a miss - fries slightly over cooked and they were presented in a way that meant most of the parmesan was at the bottom. Mains also arrived fairly quickly, large portion sizes for the sea bass and calzone which I’d highly recommend. We went at night time and the atmosphere was still good but I can imagine the stunning views of the loch that would be available during the day so I would take this into consideration before visiting. Overall cannot fault our experience one bit, slightly pricey as some of the other reviews state, we paid roughly £107 (minus the service charge) for 2 starters, 2 sides and 2 mains with 2 cocktails however considering the location this wasn’t too steep in my opinion.

The Clubhouse at Cameron
Cameron Club & Spa on Loch Lomond A82 Arden, AlexandriaCame here after proposing and the staff had set up some champagne and a free dessert for us, as well as a great discount. Staff were all attentive and the food was great.

Cafe At The Shores
