The Stead Inn, Manse Rd, Potterton, AberdeenExcellent food and service. Only comment is that it does not advise the spice level of dishes on the menu . So although my meal was very tasty it was too spicy for me.

Menie Estate, Balmedie, AberdeenTotally enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant. The menu is extensive. We had the Cullen Skink and Club Sandwich. Comfortable settings with lovely service. Shout out to Louise, Olivia and Hannah for their warm and attentive service.

The Cock & Bull
Ellon Rd, Balmedie, AberdeenI've wanted to try this place for years, and happened to be passing today. Checked the online menu as we sat in the car to ensure we could all get something we liked ...and then went in.
Service was excellent, but we soon descovered that the menu inside was completely different, so had to pick something else. The haggis mac & cheese was tastey and substantial, but the steak salad was a bit heavy on the salad and mean on the steak.... (especially considering the price).
We will go back but chose more wisely.

Manse Rd, Potterton, AberdeenSome of the best vegetable pakora I have ever had. The lamb saag was delicious as was the naan bread. I have had 2 carry outs delivered and will definitely use going forward.

Beachside Coffee Shop
Eigie Rd, Balmedie, AberdeenThe very best scones ever. Staff helpful and friendly. Surroundings are clean, bright and jolly. However, sorry to say that the cafe is so noisy it's painful. The clattering of dishes (mainly from the kitchen area), hissing coffee machine, chairs being dragged instead of lifted made it impossible to hear what companions were saying. (Noise amplification probably due to open kitchen area and hard furnishings.)
