Fantastic food and lovely staff who made us very welcome and took good care of us. Nicely designed Scandinavian-style interior full of natural light. Standout for me was monkfish and chorizo chowder, beautifully cooked. Everything was good, and set us up nicely for visit to Crathes in the afternoon. Riverside setting was lovely and peaceful.

I organised an afternoon tea as part of my friend's hen do before her wedding, and the team at Milton's could not have been more fantastic. Cat and her colleagues answered all my one hundred questions - whether promptly by email or by phone - and were always so polite and helpful. They were also very professional when it came to dealing with dietary requirements/allergies in our group, and made single servings of the afternoon tea for those who couldn't have any cross contamination. It was a fairly quiet Monday afternoon, and the service was cheerful and attentive throughout the booking, with consistent offers of more coffee/tea. Everyone praised the variety of the food - both for the savoury and sweet - and for our group of 15, nearly everyone got take a box home with them of what we couldn't finish. Really cannot recommend them enough - thank you!

Had the best lunch with family today, service was impeccable, staff were so friendly. The starter special was the best I’ve had in a long time. Such a cosy atmosphere. Great end to our family summer holiday. Will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After a visit to the gallery at the Milton I went with friends and family to the Milton Brasserie for a coffee. It was drizzling outside and we wanted a warm friendly place to chat before heading home in different directions. Unfortunately we found the opposite - the waitresses looked really fed up, there was no atmosphere at all, the Maître d' barely lifted her head when we arrived and turned her back on us when we left. But the worst thing was that the coffee was the worst I've ever had. Not to moan too much but how is it possible to make such awful, bitter coffee with such a beautiful Italian coffee machine. I doubt I'll be back, shame as the place looks lovely from the outside.

We dined here on a small group tour. I ordered the lamb, which I returned to twice because it was cold. The second serving was microwaved, so it was hit, however the lamb was 90% fat and was revolting. Could not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

First visit and not bad. Coffee and tea fine. Plain scone and Papaye/white chocolate scone but very nice. Refills on the coffee a very nice touch. Restaurant looked a bit odd. People seemed to be being told to go and order their own drinks from the bar and queue for them. So, definitely not a place for dinner or lunch. Very pleasant for a coffee.

Went today with our daughter and her family. Service patchy, and the food very average. Children’s burgers very big, and Adult burger with no chips. Cull @ skink good, Caesar salad good, Focaccia over toasted and so salty as to be almost inedible. Dessert average. In all disappointed for a bill of £130 for 4 adults and two children. This has a good reputation in the area and we were very disappointed.Kid-friendliness: GoodParking: Ok. Disabled spaces.

I was there at a private function, we had such a great time. The food was outstanding, totally out of this world. The platters were sublime, never seen anything like it before. Jay & his staff were very attentive & helpful as usual. Nothing was a problem at all. First class service all round. Can’t recommend this place enough.
