Great idea; I am sure it will/is a very popular stop for folk after being out and about around Potarch.Food was great.Service was fine, although the lass serving was possibly new and seemed a bit unsure of some things, I expect that will improve as time goes on.Will definitely be back

74 High St, BanchoryGreat place for gluten-free. I have returned here countless times. I particularly love the Burnt Cheesecake ?Dietary restrictions: The cheesecake and the Anzac Millionaire slice were delicious. Great coffee too with all the alternative milk options.

Rangoli Indian Takeaway
4 Dee St, BanchoryThe food at Rangoli was superb. Indian takeaway can be hit or miss, often finding dry meat and tasteless food. From the onion bhajis and lamb samosas to the king prawn curry and lamb pasanda, there was flavour after flavour. The food really was delicious and tasted authentic (not that I would know, never been to India), it is rare to find Pasanda on the menu however, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was soft and not dry, the bhajis were not soggy and lacking flavour but they were crispy and I could taste every spice used. Although pricey, it surely was worth it. Also, it was the best Chapathi I have had in a long time, so so delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

N Deeside Rd, BanchoryReally cozy, welcoming pub, there is a proper dining room however we did not see this. Took a chance and popped in after a long day's work and walking and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and gave us a comfy table in the bar. They provided a really good gluten free menu with lots of good options available. We had the chicken curry with rice and chips and a side of veg. It's good old fashioned hearty pub grub and hit the spot perfectly, exactly what we needed. As well as the GF menu they had a selection of GF beers available, even a GF beer on tap! Will be returning for sure!Dietary restrictions: Really accommodating for gluten free diets

10 Dee St, BanchoryStayed in Banchory over the weekend, visited the Olive Tree for a meal and we weren’t disappointed, great food , great staff and great value for money, I would highly recommend it, next time we’re in Banchory we will definitely be going back!

Ternan House, 6 N Deeside Rd, BanchoryStopped off for an early breakfast on a very wet morning last week. Food and coffee were great, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and attentive. Their menu seems very extensive. Will pop in again when I'm next in Banchory in December. Thank you.

17 High St, BanchoryNice place. Only nipped in for a coffee with mum & dad as we're running late. All of us said about how nice the drinks were (a mocha, a latte & 2 hot chocolates) . It was pretty quiet but it was 16:00 on a rainy Thursday. Would recommend.

Inchmarlo Rd, BanchoryBooked in for 4 nights but only stayed for 3 nights due to work, what pity, really enjoyed my stay, very warm welcome at reception the lady on reception was excellent, with welcome, info and sorting my bill out as I had to leave early, the food and the staff and service in bar restaurant was also excellent . Also the high level of the room daily service was much appreciated. Thank you all so much. P.S the use of the gym in the hotel grounds was a bonus.

The Cowshed Restaurant & Takeaway
Raemoir Rd, BanchoryWent to the cowshed on Sunday 10th March and the food was unbelievable. By far the BEST beef we have ever had and we are so glad we made a last minute reservation. It was busy as it was Mothering Sunday but it was still perfect service and great value for money. When we come back to Banchory we will be visiting again.

Inchmarlo Rd, BanchoryCurrently staying here with my family for a short break, house is a great size for us all, perfect location and lots of quaint shops close by including 2 local bigger supermarkets. Only thing I would say is house needs a fresh coat of paint and new kitchen basin as it looked like it was melted on one side, harbouring lots of bacteria. Would recommend tho to anyone looking to get away from the hub bub of life and enjoy the peace and quiet.

4 Watson St, BanchoryLovely serversFresh tasted fresh wasn’t overdone it was just spot on,Chips was lovely and soft in the inside and nice and crispy on the outsideCurry sauce was perfect wasn’t too spicy however wasn’t too mild and didn’t have a bitter taste like some chippys.Evenly salted and nominated with good quantity not under not over done.Two boy servers were super friendly you could tell one was new however learning quick and done the best to his ability.Waiting time was under 4 minutesParking: On street parking to the west of the shop plenty of room depending on time to the east the street becomes narrow with private driveways needing constant 24/7 access.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to access near by on street parking available however not recommended during peek times

Milton of Crathes, BanchorySuperb baking amongst the best I've had in a nice location. However let down by poor service. There is a mature woman who seems to be in charge who just glares at everyone and the staff stand around the bar chatting. We had to go to them to be served even though it was quiet.

The food was just as good as I had remembered and she said it was the best Korma she's ever had!The proprietar was the perfect gentleman and made us feel welcome and cared about.Before leaving, we asked to let the chef know just how much we enjoyed our food! We're now looking forward to our next visit :)

Shakes 'n' Cakes @ The Nile
3 Dee St, BanchoryWho ever serves you it's always a warm welcome and great service. Had not had a kebab for over 2 years before having one from here and we were not disappointed ! Def going on a regular basis now even though its 23 mile away. Keep it up !
