What an amazing place serving exceptionally delicious food. Great find and only discovered it due to A93 road closure and diversion. Highly recommend a visit. Great convenient stop for cyclists or walkers on the Deesideway path. Open Thursday to Sunday.

Wow. Not been here since it was under new management by the Nichols. And what a wonderful, friendly, cafe it is with superb food coming out of the kitchen.My wife had the posh homemade fish finger butty and I had the pulled pork with dauphinoise potatoes and a perfectly poached egg on top.Proper home baked cheesecake and coffee followed before we waddled off!Definitely our new go to place. Highly recommended.

Top coffee and cakes with my wee girls.Staff are always friendly and happy.If I had to suggest an improvement it would only be to the kids play area but appreciate it's there regardless.Keep up the great work.

First time visiting and it’s our new favourite spot! Drove down from Ballater with the dogs and went for a walk along the river and into the forest then sat outside at Potarch. Small, unique, beautiful menu! Fresh and interesting ingredients, delicious flavours. The dogs enjoyed the shade from the big wooden table. Friendly and attentive staff. We’ll see you next week!! :)

Rare find, unique little cafe near banchory. Lovely decor mixture of industrial and country farmhouse.. ... quite noisy when full.Menu choices limited and most things have a fried element.We had posh fish finger sandwich and fries and rarebit.The fish sandwich was served in a box which was very stylish but made it hard to eat.Coffee was delicious and cookie was ok.Best thing about the place was the service.....staff all very friendly, efficient .

Really nice place to have lunch or to stop in for a coffee and cake. Kids play area on site, and a play park just across the road. Nice walks too, or just sit and watch the River Dee flow along. Just finished an excellent lunch here. Great menu (not the usual run-of-the-mill), very nice staff and lovely cosy atmosphere. Brilliant location just off the A93 - beautiful countryside and river just beside the cafe to enjoy. Kids play area on site and play park a few steps across the road. Electric car charging too. A great place.

Everything was delicious - the huge squishy French toast with berries and pistachio was perfect while the less sweet toothed amongst us loved the shakshuka. I could have eaten absolutely everything on the menu

Sat outside for lunch and coffee on a beautiful sunny Sunday. A great setting and the food was superb. The young waitresses that served us were friendly and professional with quick service. Couldn’t fault the place and we shall be back for sure.

Cycling in a large group, we stopped as soon as they opened. The welcome was wonderful, service perfect and the coffee was one of the best I have ever tasted. Well done on such high standards - and making such fabulous coffee…
