The food at Rangoli was superb. Indian takeaway can be hit or miss, often finding dry meat and tasteless food. From the onion bhajis and lamb samosas to the king prawn curry and lamb pasanda, there was flavour after flavour. The food really was delicious and tasted authentic (not that I would know, never been to India), it is rare to find Pasanda on the menu however, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was soft and not dry, the bhajis were not soggy and lacking flavour but they were crispy and I could taste every spice used. Although pricey, it surely was worth it. Also, it was the best Chapathi I have had in a long time, so so delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

After a close-by takeaway was closed, I dropped in here for the first time in years. As I hadn't ordered by phone, and all food is prepared fresh, I had to wait about 30 minutes. But well worth it! My lamb Jalfrezi was the best I'd ever had by a good margin. I'm told the chicken Balti was equally scrumptious. Pakoras were great (I recommend vegetable), pilau rice plentiful, and garlic naan large and tasty. The best!

Fairly new to the area and treated ourselves again to another Rangoli Lamb Saag and Mushroom Fried Rice. Delicious and so lucky it’s just 5 minutes away.

Best Indian food I've ever had and I've tried a lot! Prices seemed high at first and it was a 40 minute wait between ordering and the food being ready but it was absolutely worth the wait and the price! Ur paying for the quality and flavour here so if u fancy some great Indian food while in/around Banchory I'd recommend u give them a try!

Was £19 for a chicken korma boiled rice and two chapattis. The chicken was clearly cooked yesterday as it was hard and only six small pieces. The sauce was runny to say the least the only reason I force fed myself this alleged meal was out of hunger ?

We live locally and Rangoli is one of our favourite takeaways in the area. The food is consistently good, there is an excellent choice, and the staff are always friendly, making sure their customers know what they are ordering and will be happy with it. The Gobi Manchurian starter is a must have!

Great service - my wife is GF/DF and the chefs were extremely helpful, taking me through menu in detail in person and discussing what options were available before we ordered. The food was excellent too!
