I have previously purchased coffee from this establishment on two occasions for take away and the coffee was excellent. I brought my family to the establishment on a Saturday and queued for a table. My mother asked for a table upon which a young woman began to explain that we had to order drinks and food first before being taken to a table. This was acceptable and we were happy to comply. However what was not acceptable was a male employee looking up and shouting at us to wait to be served and that his staff were busy. He was loud and rude and upset my mother so much she went outside at which point we all decided to leave. Totally uncalled for behaviour, he should be ashamed of himself. His fellow staff I have no issue with, I had recognised they were under pressure and I appreciated their attentiveness regardless but the males tone and volume was insulting.

We've stopped here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. Good coffee and the black pudding sausage roll was pretty fine as well. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

What a great place! Wonderful food, the friendliest service and a brilliant location. Our party had a range of food, from vegan pastries and wraps to meaty pastries. We would absolutely come again.Vegetarian options: A good range of sweet and savoury vegetarian and vegan options.

We had to wait 17 minutes for two takeaway coffees which were average when they arrived. Lovely service from the girl who was working just let down by our waiting time and the actual drinks.

This is the second time we've been here. It's a lovely clean coffee house with lovely food to offer. Last time I had the venison burger which came with a pasta salad. My husband I think had a brie burger again with the pasta salad. Both burgers were so tasty as was the pasta. Today, the venison burger was still on offer but I spied stovies with beetroot and oatcakes. Proper. My husband had the chicken fajita, cheese and pesto ciabatta. I tasted the ciabatta. Lovely and then you got the taste of pesto coming through. Also with a salad and beetroot. My stovies were so tasty and the beetroot was lovely as well. Served with a glass of milk. So Scottish!! Really lovely place. Staff are really friendly and just a fun atmosphere. The food is great and just had lovely tuna melt. The baked goods are delicious. Vegan and or gluten free opinions are plenty too. Just a lovely spot.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, vegan options.
Good food and coffee as always. Their current system of reading a blackboard and then taking a seat and waiting for someone to take your order is not a great set-up. An improvement would be to have proper menus on the tables.
