Lovely restaurant , delicious food and service, we always eat at Indie Roots, food cooked freshly and it’s very tasty just the right amount of spices and if you request a small adjustment to the food there is no hesitation at all about it . We enjoy the red wine ? and the beer too. Well Done to all staff we shall continue to support you.

We went to indie roots for dinner and had a lovely experience. Rehman was very helpful when choosing from the menu and the food was fabulous. The staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

We were staying in Bathgate for our anniversary and so booked a table for Indie Roots after reading the reviews. Our meal was amazing. Traditional Indian meals and so much choice! Our meals were cooked to perfection. And the staff, particularly the waitress who looked after us, was so friendly and polite. I would definitely go back!!

Recommended to me by the guesthouse I was staying at, and was not disappointed. I have limited use of my right arm and wear a support sling, and the staff were very solicitous, offering to help to open bottled water and whether I needed help with the food. I had Samosas, followed by Lamb Biryani with a medium sauce, and it was amazing! The sauce was just right, and the meal itself just about perfect - the flavours subtle and not overpowering, but an incredible combination.
Went with my family a the service was excellent and the food was extremely good and plenty if it .All in All a great experience and we will certainly be back

First time using this restaurant and the last time!! Food was very spicy very hot we could not eat it even Briani rice very hot like vendloo ,too much rice very little meat compared to the price!! Sauce container not suitable for sauces??? Rice is very salty ! Order mild sauce and hot sauce get both very hot, Food ended in the pin never again!!

Was a bit of a wait for the food however it was SO worth it. Garlic mushrooms starter were simply divine and the chicken jaipuri was equally delicious. Portion sizes were perfect too. The lady serving was so nice and friendly.It was quite noisy when we first arrived because it was busy but the acoustics of the room can’t really be helped!Overall a really nice experience ?

Amazing food, everything was incredibly tasty and full of so much depth in flavour and spicing. The service was impeccable; very graceful, polite and sensitive. We found this place after reading the other reviews and we are so glad we came. We ordered the Paneer Shashlik and the Mixed Tandoori, both were unbelievable! This delightful restaurant really deserves it's number one spot.

This is a great wee restaurant, been a couple of times now and every time the food and service are great. Everything is cooked to order with a fantastic choice of currys to choose from. Decor is maybe slightly dated if I had to be picky but would recommend to friends and family and I'd go back in an instant.Vegetarian options: We didn't try the vegetarian options but they definately cater to vegetarians with plenty of choice.
