Had the 2 course lunch. The spring rolls were not fully cooked and beef in the beef mushroom was inedible as so tough.Despite leaving much of the meal at no point was I asked if everything was OK.

It was very nice, the food was really tasty and the staff were lovely. The only negative thing however is, if you are vegan, I would not recommend it, as I was told they could not guarantee the food was vegan.Vegetarian options: There is a small vegetarian section of the menu however, some of the vegetarian dishes come with oyster sauce so, not vegetarian. They do not cater for vegans at all. The staff even seemed confused about what I meant when I asked if the dishes were vegan.

had a takeaway and as loyal customers thought we would give it on elast try as recently its been very poor . Well worst ever. So bad I phoned and complained the woman shouted at staff in chinese then asked me to leave the boxed food outside and they would collect to check it . I did this but no collection . Promised me apartial refund which never happened . the beef in the curry was inedible and more concerning was spring roll smelt and tasted off . The noodles were all stuck together . Please do not order from there and it saddens me to say but I will never return .

This place has been rated for years as far as Bathgate Chinese food goes but god knows what’s happened but it is absolutely rife, 6 of us attended for dinner on a week night, wasn’t particularly busy, service quick but the food was useless, a couple of the group are plain eaters and went of ‘old school’ curry’s an sweet n sour, but even those were well below par, god help you if your more adventurous, one of ordered a vegetarian option and essentially got a sweet an sour chicken with chicken removed and a couple of peppers chucked in. Dated decor, still the take away pick ups sitting waiting at next table, the place is just done, such a shame as it used to be a reliable place for good Chinese food.

Phoned to place an order and got asked to hold, waited 10 minutes only for them to pick up the phone and hang up! Had a massive order as well. Customer service has gotten worse and worse! Foods watery anyway, AVOID!

We’ve been going here regularly for years. And over the last few months it’s steadily gone downhill. Food quality, consistency and actually getting the order correct.Tonight was the last straw.Special chow mein tasted really off. I had a tiny bit of noodle and thought it didn’t taste right, then I bit into the king prawn. It was hard and crunchy (no shell!) like water chestnut and tasted really odd. I called them and said there was something wrong.They told me to put it back in the container and to bring it back and asked if I wanted another. I declined and asked if I could have something else - the thought of another prawn or noodles was making me feel ill. I asked for beef and broccoli and a fried riceUpon returning the dish, (no apology for inconvenience) I had to wait until they added up the price difference (£1.70). I told them I wasn’t paying the difference as I’d had to drive back to return it and wouldn’t have had to change it if there hadn’t been something wrong with the order. After much discussion in Cantonese I was told I’d have to pay to return a dish next time?? I shouldn’t have to return food I’ve ordered.This place has continued to get worse lately and there’s inconsistency with dishes from night to night. Between that and the latest idiocy over returning a meal that I’ll be lucky I don’t end up ill from, we will not be returning.

The food has consistently gone downhill and god forbid you try and return a dish that tastes off. Even as a regular customer who orders the same thing frequently. Customer service is the worst I have encountered for a long time. Been going to this takeaway for over 5 years. We won’t be back.
