Booking made for food and drinks for five people for Hogmanay on 3 December. Received email on 30 December checking that we would still be attending which was confirmed. Arrived to be told that the kitchen was closed - no explanation given. There was no one in the place - says it all. The Balencrieff next door were thankfully able to accommodate us. Give Urban Cocktail Kitchen a miss - I won't be back.Update: A polite but factual comment I made on their FB post about them being closed until 10 January due to 'unforseen circumstances' was removed twice then I was blocked! Way to run a business...

Came in with some pals for a bite to eat and some drinksVery reasonably priced, decent portions of food and the food was so good.The athmosphere was spot on.Service was grand never an empty glass on the table and the wait for food wasn’t long at all.Will definitely be back?

Ordered food and drinks here food came out the warps weren’t piping hot just warm my friend had her chips spilled all over the table and we sent the food back to make it hotter and it came back but still wasn’t overly hot so unless things change I won’t be back in a hurry

We had a tapas with the small plates dishes. Food and cocktails were amazing. Staff friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

As you can see I put up feedback and the owner deleted it because it wasn't what they liked. The owner Andrew Ferguson is as dodgy as they come, probably dodging tax and I am in the middle of contacting Acas.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Was in here tonight and the service is a disgrace. Staff members not knowing what they are doing and the bar staff being abrupt and ignorant to the point I was about to say to them about it.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

Booked ages ago for me and my sister to go out Xmas night out . Booking came with food but when arrived told NO FOOD . So ok we drank cocktails and when we went loo it was disgusting!!!! Only 5 ppl in atmosphere was rubbish so we left . Highly recommended NOT to waste time going here we will not be back

Ordered a rose wine and a beer. They gave us the wrong rose wine and only let us know after we had been charged for it that the one I wanted was out of stock (bearing in mind it was more expensive). Stale flat beer. I have worked in several bars and know when the pipes haven’t been cleaned. My partner took his pint back to say it was flat and the barman said “oh yes that does look flat” but still charged for another one!!! Rude staff that just don’t want to be there. You can tell they are trying to do everything on the cheap, cheap juices with the prices still on lying all over the bar. I have lived in Australia, America, England and have worked in many bars and restaurants and can say that this is the worst bar I’ve ever been to and has the rudest staff. Do everyone a favour and just shut it down.
