Placed a telephone order for collection and was told it would be 15 minutes, so 15 minutes later I arrived to collect my order only to be told that it wasn't ready, the reason it wasn't ready is because they don't start preparing orders for collection until the customer arrives. Kind of takes away any point of placing an order for collection.Really poor customer service.

Pizza topping was scarce , not value for amount spent, chips aren't as good as they used to be , were delivered cold.

Call to order in advance for them to tell you don't don't start making it till you are in the chippy anyway, what's the point in that?Don't put enough sauce on anything and the staff are dour face weapons.Overpriced, even for a chippy

Ordered Fish and chips,home delivery,fish was disgusting dry and tasteless,batter was hard and chewy not a pleasant experience.E.mailed them stating fact,didn't have the decency to reply.Steer clear.£25.00 down the drain.

Just moved into the area so want to support local business. Past 2 orders were below average thought I would give them one last go. It will be the last.I ordered for delivery at 5 pm thinking I would get fresh as they just opened.Honestly the chips were cold and I am sure the fritters were from yesterday. The batter they use is terrible. The mince pie was OK. Chips and Fritters went in the bin.

Could have been 5* but they gave me a ham and pineapple pizza instead of ham and mushroom...I mean, what kind of monster has pineapple on a pizza? Wasn't happy that I had to sit and pick it all off. It was tasty after though

Bought two 10 inch pizzas tonight, both were very short of food portions on the base. Mine was a chicken and mushroom, with only a few tiny bits of chicken the size of your fingernail, same with the mushrooms. My wife's was a Vegetali and it was the same. I've noticed portion amounts have reduced lately , does the owner who no doubt instructs the staff to reduce portions to maximise his profit margins think the customers are all stupid? This is a very short-sighted business attitude that will only result in a loss of profits in the longer term. It's not as though the prices are cheap, far from it. Serving staff totally impersonal, no smiles or pleasantries. It used to be a good take away with efficient pleasant staff and I was happy to pay dearer prices as portions were good and staff friendly and efficient. I'll be going elsewhere in future if it doesn't improve.
Terrible atmosphere and service in the counter. Staff ignoring customers, been in shop, one of the guys ask us to wait a minute and he'll be right back but wasn't. After some time standing there and waiting to be served and when other customer went in and been served immediately, we gave up and simply left without being served. I think that after such an experience we will definitely not come back. My partner ordered a delivery and food was a big disappointment, fish and chips so greasy and disgusting, all landed in bin ?

Not been here for a while so when Danis was closed went in , absolute shock at the price of a fish supper 9.30 for 1 thin bit of fish(menus states 2 fish) and dried up chips, least Danis give 2 decent bits of fish , actually asked for 2 fish suppers , both fish in the same container and the chips in a separate container , won't be back

Seems to be the way nowOrder wrong 1 fish supper 1 single mince pie and mushy peasWe actually got cold peas .Unable to eatNo single pie but two portions of luke warm chips.Fish was ok to be fair .Extremely disappointed. All in binWon't be backWe have had hit or misson several occasions prior .As local business and want to support .Unfortunately, after a few marginal mealsNo alternative.You have been warned .
