We are moving to the area so wanted to try Lorimers and we were really pleased with our experience. Great menu much better than usual ‘pub grub’. Nice atmosphere and lovely clean toilets. Beer garden looks great too for summer! Looking forward to more visits in the future!
Friendly and relaxing atmosphere, great service from welcoming staff. Good selection of food and drink and well presented. Beer garden put back for eating out as well as dog friendly ?

Having eaten there before I booked a table for 2pm on 23/09. We waited ages for our meals to arrive despite it being quiet when we arrived and when it did I did not recognise my lasagne. It had a thick separate topping of what I believe to be a cheesy polenta. It was burnt. It was disgusting. Left more than I ate. The coffees also took ages to arrive. Won’t be visiting again.
